works as it says! the file created is much smaller than other products I've tried. simply one of the best Ive used. customizable keys that can allow for even a novice to use it effectively. can be used for a range of options none that i can think about. my use of this software is primarily for the recording of in game footage for editing. Ive tried fraps and got a lot of problems especially with the size of the files that was created, the audio was absent or off. but with zd recorder I've had no problems at all. the files created are small enough that my video editor wont crash and my hard drive wont take a beating with the huge files. overall this software would be a worthy buy for any video gaming enthusiast who wants to capture that great moment to share.

"The concept is great, but execution is lacking." It is VERY easy to download and use. Even when the video source was excellent, the recorded version had digitalization problems. The playback video would often lock up then skip ahead. It most cases, even with a good initial source, the video playback was unwatchable.
