"This is outragous and beautyful and my favorite new toy! Enjoy!" I chose a colorful image, browsed controls and placed it on auto and tripped out. I haven't ever used a program as this and doubt that any comparative product doesn't exist. I have chose to purchase this one! Totally amuzing.Puts your graphics card to good use.

"Great program. Generates incredible images from photos." The user interface is very easy to use. The various options allow the user to develop very creative and artistic images from standard photographs. I would recommend this product to anyone would like to create drug induced art or just crazy images. I have been using this product for several years and have not had any problems. Product support is great whenever you have questions.

The only negative thing that I found, is that you are limited to 3 product key replacements, which allows you to use it. Once those keys are used, you must repurchase the program entirely. It would be nice if you could update the license when u need. It is meant for those that enjoy kaliedoscopic patterns, pushed to the infinite! A best for graphic art display and production. Offers screen capture and video creation. A treasured investment and favorite toy.

Neat effects possible with little effort. I'm using it to create wallpaper and page backgrounds from photos and art work. Very intuitive once you figure out the menu... and it's free! The menus at the right of the main window could and should be larger. It might be advantageous to start each new file in a new window so one could work back and forth or work on more than one image at a time. As stated previously, there is a learning curve. The small menu that pops up and contains "Help" isn't very concise. Like the working icons, this "Help" is small and on a black background which makes it hard to read. Considering this is a free program, I'm nitpicking but... trying to be constructive. I would like an actual, circular template that would give me the versatility of creating round (as in most kaleidoscopes) renders along with the full frame render. All in all, it's a great little program and I have many uses for it. Thanks to the team that created it!!!

"A good program, but lacking good interface" The range of effects is great. messy interface without a basic tutorial, I find the production of still images fairly simple, however the recording and saving of video confusing. the layout of the interface and placement of buttons creates unnecessary problems.

"Beware, extremely Addictive !" Makes amazingly complicated patterns, so easy to save quickly, just press Q and it's done.Once you get around all the buttons and menus you soon learn the shortcuts.Would be such a boon to anybody designing fabrics or wallpapers. A bit overwhelming to start with but do persevere, it pays off in the end. Have just gone ahead and bought the software after the trial ran out.Great to play around with when you have a few spare minutes you want to fill in.Anyone who has used stuff like Apophysis or Chaoscope will love this.
