Intuitive interface, quick and easy to use, no learning curve for basic features, yet it still has plenty of power and advanced tools for the more tech-savvy. Conversions using the default setting can be slow. It would be nice if future versions enabled adding special effects. I've used this (registered version) for years. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, with style, speed with plenty of bells and whistles.

Allows you to create a Burn File for later, unlike most systems that don't separate those functions Need to tel you before you start converting whether the file will be too big to fit on disk. Yes, it tells you after, but that's after the process of converting, usually 2 Hours.

I prefer AVStoDVD (with HCenc) for its quality and tweakablity, but I still use CXTD at times for its ease of use (one-click), speed, reliability and quality (all things considered). Definitely a fine program, but at a steep price.

Still the one. I didn't understand what "roberttucker" was saying with "DeVeDe". I thought it was an idiotic way to say "DVD". And, in a way, it was. It's a reference to a program by that name. As you might guess, it's free (otherwise, the superior product listed here would not be mindlessly panned simply because of its existence). And looky here at what the author of "DeVeDe" says: "The big advantage [of DeVeDe] over other utilites is that it only needs Mplayer, Mencoder, DVDAuthor, VCDImager and MKisofs (well, and Python, PyGTK and PyGlade), so its dependencies are really small." Yeah, wow, that's "really small". And, I can only download DeVeDe for windows using a BitTorrent client. And, apparently, I still need a separate utility to burn the disc. Nice.

DeVeDe :) Plumber It Comes with ImgBurn so u don't need a separate utility to burn your DVD and u can get it without BitTorrent. http://www.files.majorsi...setup-3.16.9-build6.msi

Easy to use. Worth the money. Not much to dislike about it. Key thing for me: is is easy to use. Paid $50 for mine. I suppose there are cheaper alternatives out there (I didn't look too hard). Bottom line: I am satisfied.

I mostly enjoyed the chapter seperation. I think there is nothing. Its easy to use.You dont have to know more about programming or something like that(not be expert in pc s).It makes the movies picture more clear than it was at the beggining.

Options very clear and easy to understand Templates not good and poor options to modify it
