TortoiseSVN provides a nice and easy user interface for Subversion, and as a Subversion client, TortoiseSVN has all the features of Subversion itself, including: most current CVS features; directories, renames, and file meta-data are versioned; commits are truly atomic; branching and tagging are cheap (constant time) operations; efficient handling of binary files.

Stay the hell away from this release! This is the second time in about as many months that they have released a complete duffer. This release along with the the one previous to last completely messed up the revision graphing. I'm having to roll back this version to TortoiseSVN 1.6.1, Build 16129. Additionally tagging on branches seem to have gone completely up the creek. Stay well clear if you like to use revision graphs to keep track of what is going on within your repository.

as anonymouscowturd said, keep away from this version it seriously screws with the graphical presentation. other than that it seems to work fine for me. Otherwise a real piece of software

This installer is a little buggy, but if you run it again and click "Repair" everything works as expected.
