works well ... loads quickly ... drag & drop transfer ... auto-update ... it's completely free has to re-submit user & password way too often & has a busy toolbar been using this for years after stumbling through some of the pricier "name" brands ... the interface is pretty straightforward and even first-timers will have no problem working with this program ... it's not perfect but it gets the job done quickly & easily ... I've not found any other FTP program I like better ... and it's FREE!

Works like a charm capable of managing various servers import from fireftp...really bummed me out. The only reason I am using is because Chrome does not have an FTP client. Works but could be better, needs better button control or UI

Simple to use, got multi tabbing. Not as pretty as something like Smart FTP, but that's not free, and not worth paying for. For most casual and professional users this is great, and it's available for most OS's.

Fast, smooth, effective, simple to setup and run. Useful features like multiple downloads. UI feels a bit cramped even maximized in 1920x1200 resolution. Got fed up with another ftp client and tried this one. It was exactly what i needed. A reliable FTP for transfer of several large files over a long period of time on a regrettably unreliable connection. It even retries when a file transfer fails.

Anyone can use it. It's built by the people for the people. Haven't found any yet! Good for starters and pro's! You don't need to be a rocket scientist to launch your files with this tool. I use Dreamweaver for sites and generally only need the integrated ftp, but sometimes I use this one when not at my machine, which can be downloaded and configured in minutes to do your work. You can then remove it quickly if you don't want to leave it on a foreign machine. Crazy Critter.

For my use, there was nothing positive about this program. I was using a program that had side by side windows with a simple highlight the files to upload or download and click the directional button. I wasn't able to get this program to work as simple as what I am accustom to.

Very straight forward to use, with the normal two wndows, one for your "home" ststem, and one for the internet pages that you are logging into. Everything works with out any fuss whatsoever. You can lose files when you drag and drop them over. I copied some over to the worng file and I can't now find them to delete them. A no frills programme that works simply and easiy.

I like it for its ease of use, plus the fact that its free, that's great. I don't have any thing to say bad about it. It is the best free software to use to upload your files on that I have seen on theInternet.

Nice, reliable transfers, and for some reason it uploads faster than any other ftp client I've tried. Substracted 1 star for three reasons: 1. If I get an ftp URL in email from a client of mine, in the form of ftp://user:pass@ftp.host.com/some/path/file.txt I cannot just paste the URL and have the download start (the way I can in Total Commander, for example). You have to manually aplit the URL into part and create a new site in the site manager first. This is a task for software, not human fingers. 2. You can add frequent locations to bookmarks, but there is no "recent connections" feature. Most of the time you have to go through the site manager again. At least do away with the modal dialog implementation and put the sites in a side panel in the main window, so that it can be accessed and browsed quicker, without the modality. 3. The "Network configuration wizard" always ends up with a failure for me, which would suggest that there's something wrong with my connection - but the actual real-life connections and downloads work flawlessly. So why does the wizard spell gloom and doom?
