"Interface is user friendly, however it does not update" This software is very user friendly. It is really easy to use. The application has problems recognizing that files on a local site have been changed. This problem occurs when connected to the ftp site or even when disconnect and reconnected The software does not recognize the changes the changes made to the files on the local site. It still see's the old files, their sizes and their date stamps. This is not accurate and is definatley a bug.

"Simple and Displays Good Information" Allows you to put in your local and remote directories for each connection. Has a great display showing your directories, the transfer queue, and the percent copied. It will reconnect automatically when there is a disconnect. It is fast and easy. No cons so far! I got rid of FTP commander because it was so time consuming to put in all the information that FileZilla just saves for you.

Who uses FTP? Are you serious? If you're downloading lots of files from an FTP server, you're sometimes better off doing it with a full FTP client. The same is true when you have to navigate lots of directories to find file(s) you need. And if you have your own web server, you need an FTP client to get the files there in the first place...

"Easy to use, and fast." I find FileZilla very easy to use. Easy setup and the layout of the screen is easy to read to figure out how to do what you need to do. Nothing! But I'm not a power user, so take it for worth it's worth. If you need something that is easy to learn to use, with a quick set-up, this is the product!

Fast! Lighting fast for me, but it's my connection. I love this ftp software, I use it for my website. Five stars. Zero, I love it. I use it every week for my website, I love it. Use upload, and walk away. Five minutes later, your whole site is up and running. Love it.

Clearly organized and gives on-the-fly information I haven't had any problems in the first week. I was able to use this utility after a single glance. It is organized in a way that lets you use it as a simple transfer tool or as a much more complicated program. I am glad I chose this one. I use Firefox and this program just races along.

Simple but robust interface, well designed and coded, powerful, sets the bar for every other FTP client Not as secure as WinSCP; frequent releases means frequent upgrades (fine unless you don't have permissions to upgrade software on your PC) I would like to see the ability to "Browse" for a remote directory to default to when you manage sites. There may be a way already and I'm just not aware of it. But having to type in the remote directory can be annoying if the directory structure is tricky (minor complaint really, since it only has to be done once). Nothing further to add, but I am dreading when this application becomes ad-supported. It seems like everything "free" eventually gets ads placed into the interface. I love FileZilla's interface, and it would be sad to see it intruded upon by ads.

Fast, clean and grerat to use. Free is the best! Mozilla is a great company, so this is always gonna be solidly improved upon, despite it being a great product even now. There's some feature that a different progra I once used had, which this doesn't, at least, it isn't as prominent. I can't remember what it was, which obviously doesn't help, but I've never found the feature in the program, which is a shame. Very happy with Filezilla - couldn't ask for more from free sottware.

Easy, drag and drop, fast, as many FTP sites as you want, never hangs ... oh and it's free Stupid name Love the ease of use, functionality, the ability to save all of your FTP username/passwords, and it's drag and drop functionality. There is NO reason to use anything else.

Always works. It doesn't seem to see the other drives in the network automatically. I always need to cut and paste or manually input the locations of files on the network.

Small, lightning fast and simple interface....and it's free. Haven't found any. Extremely useful in managing websites.
