Seamonkey is a very good and stable browser. Once I got it synced with FF and got my bookmarks in place, I had a good time bouncing around websites. Page rendering and speed were very good. However, whereas Chrome and FF are overloaded with extensions, many of which are impractical, the Monkey is sorely underloaded with practical extensions and that's a bit of a drawback.

cltx99 although you raise a very good point it's actually better that a browser is underloaded with extensions when I was using FF I needed 8 extensions for things I wanted to do during browsing, However with SeaMonkey I only need 2 extensions & I've been testing SM since beta 1 & it's been very stable & having less extensions is actually one of the reasons I like this application suite.

I like the simplicity of sea monkey without having to give up the easy access to bookmarks, etc. I liked it just as it is.

Easy to use. Customizable. Themes. None at all. This is my second favorite browser next to Firefox. Each addition keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the release of 2.1. Very nicely done! I think this browser should be #2 in the ranks, next to it's sibling Firefox which is #1. Well done Mozilla well done! :-)

So far, not too bad. No crashes or strange browsing incidents. Im sorry to see the new bookmark layout. I guess its similar to the Firefox set up, which I dont like. Other than that, its been pretty good.

Lightweight, customizable, and comes with a suite of web-enabled programs like Chatzilla, a mail platform, and an HTML web editor built in. Has a very cute moefication (aka: browser-tan)! Also comes with a spiffy source code inspector tool. Rejected by some websites as an incompatible browser, last to get some cool add-on features, largely ignored by the Internet and computing world for no good reason. No homepage link if bookmark bar is disabled... what!?! This is a fun, lightweight browser. It was built from Netscape Navigator with the Mozilla Gecko platform. It has open-source capabilities and allows users to dig in and customize or alter the browser code to suit individual preferences. Best part is, you can also freely distribute the modified browser under open user rights!Forget Firefox. This is the browser for a true nerd!Has a

Well what can I say the SeaMonkey Council has released another perfect beta which I have been testing now for quite some time, SM 2.1b3 is very stable just like the other betas & unlike other browser I have all my needs In the one handy application. If you are sick of all the hype of all the other browser then give SeaMonkey a try you have absolutely nothing to loose.

Easy and fast install. No error and no problem. No conflict with Internet Explorer 8 & Thunderbird. No crashes anyway. Editing existing .html pages with tables is easy without problems. The help section is understandable. For websites this is the one There are no cons for the composer. I dared to install SeaMonkey, because I trust Mozilla with Thunderbird and the review of dynamiteDuo was the decisive. Uninstall is via control panel, software list (entry: "SeaMonkey"), which i did not try, because SeaMonkey is perfect I searched the web for a good WYSIWYG HTML-editor for Windows 7 64-bit and there is only this program. Before I used KompoZer on Windows XP 32-bit.

Very nice features. Easy access to email and bookmarks. Not enough themes or personas. That should be addressed in the next version 2.1 when the stable release is finally available. My second favorite browser next to Firefox. IMHO this browser should be in the number 2 spot. Well done Mozilla! Looking forward to the next stable release. Tried the beta version of 2.1 and was very impressed. I have Firefox as my default browser and this one is a very close second. I enjoy using both. :)

Integrated suite of Internet software - browser, e-mail, address book, HTML editor, and IRC chat. Uses less resources and hard drive space than Firefox/Thunderbird combo. Although it has extension capabilities, SeaMonkey is not supported as quickly as Firefox - can take time for extensions to be updated to new versions. I started with the Mozilla Suite and migrated to SeaMonkey when it was released. I have used a lot of browsers, but I always come back to the integrated suite. Call me old school I guess - it is nice to be surging the web and be told by the browser that you have new e-mail without having the e-mail client open.End user support is awesome via the SeaMonkey forum. Very rare for a question to go unanswered.Because of the integration, you use less hard drive space and resources. As an example, I use the Ad-Block extension. For SeaMonkey, I install it once and it works for the browser and e-mail. For Firefox and Thunderbird, I have to install it twice for each application. Not a good example but it makes my point.Opera is another integrated suite but I feel SeaMonkey's e-mail client is more robust and offers more options and control of your mail and mail accounts.I have always told people to use the browser that fits your style. If an integrated browsing suite is your cup of tea, then you will want to give SeaMonkey a try - you will be glad you did.Be sure to go to kb.mozillazine.org/Main_Page to find answers to most of the questions and issues you may have or encounter.

It works well. Haven't used it long enough to find flaws. It is worthwhile recommending.
