... then this program is definitely for you! But, since having its copy-a-website advantages, this also has its disadvantages. This program was created for people who wanted to view websites whilst offline, especially websites with informative content such as medical or tutorial. Good for students who want to share information between their study environment to their comrades. Unfortunately, this software has been misused and widely abused for its sole purpose of invention. Entities out there are copying professional web-designers/developers' work and modifying its contents to use for themselves, or even make profit by illegally trading them. Fortunately, there are website/page/HTML encryption programs out there that protects web-disigners/developers' work from being stolen, try Encrypt HTML Pro, you won't be disappointed. Even if you don't want an encryption program, there are websites/forums where HTML encryption support is web-bourne. Just search for it and you'll find it. Overall, this program is rendered useless, since I have Encrypt HTML Pro which protects my websites from being downloaded/copied. When it comes to encrypted/copy-proofed websites, this program is one BIG joke!

"Excellent Software, Perfect Quality, and Easy to Manage." It's like a photocopier for websites. Download all or part of a website to your computer, enabling you to browse the site directly from your hard disk at much greater speeds than if you were to browse the site online

The program is limited to 40 uses, and can save a maximum of 500 files per project. Also, it doesn't have a built-in browser, but it opens all pages with your default one, and since it's the one you constantly use, I don't think this is a major fault.

Quite useless nowadays, doesn't support JS links, cannot download Flash content, etc. Use Offline Explorer if you really wanna save a website to your HDD.

Absolutely None This software allows hackers to steal sites for profits temporarily. If you want to go to jail use this software the FBI Internet Crime dept is also now aware of this malicious product and will prosecute thieves. No matter country you try to hide in. Being a victim of this malicious software has cost me thousands of dollars tracking down the thief?s who steal legitimate web sites and then run Google word ads for profit. It pretty obvious that CNET has not done any investigation for the use of this software that breaks firewalls for the sole purpose of stealing someone else hard work. Be advised that Google is now fully aware of this software and filing a DMCA complaint will result in the cancelation of the thief?s word ad account thus providing no more reason to steal. Additionally copying legitimate web sites creates duplicate content a Google penalty for site copied. So if your site is copied be sure to contact Google right away and they will remove the penalty and do some cool stuff to the hacker especially if they have copied a bunch of sites and use word ads. Basically every site can be tracked and Google will cancel all their accounts and blacklist them and not pay them. Ha Ha hackers I won a battle. Updated on Jun 24, 2010

Teleport Pro does a first-rate job. To criticize it as hard to use or somehow permits you to hack a web site is nonsense. Yes, I do recommend you use all the instructions all the way through before just firing it off. Careful not to set this program to copying some huge web site without setting a time or space limit, or you will wake up in the morning and find your hard drive is filling up. Excellent program. I have used other programs over the years, but I have found nothing as dependable and full-featured as Teleport Pro.

Extremely fast at grabbing sites. Not user friendly. Gotta kinda figure things out on your own. It's not a tool for hacking - but it CAN be used to create PHISHING sites! Because it downloads the pages and images which can be viewed offline, a site can be reconstructed as a phishing site - with all the original images and code. It is also great for downloading all the images of a gallery at once. Beyond this, I am not sure I understand the use of a program like this.

Absolutely outdated, can only fetch basic HTML only websites without flash and JS links. Use Offline Explorer for anything serious.
