"It works." I like the fact that I can use this for free, I never archive files but so many people do and to access their files I need something that can open their archives. I am not crazy about the annoying message telling me about evaluate this and purchase that message that pops up on every usage. If people didn't archive their files I would never use it. If this product ever gets to the point of being annoying with the reminder to pay and register, I'll just use my Linux box to open archives, at least with that OS I get free unarchivers.

"It's the most complete archiver for the lowest price." It has all features like the expensive archiver. I like the backup feature most.

"look at the related down loads" Fair icons for such a small result , it shoul be compreed with an easier to find packaging program. Fair icons, for such a small result , it shoul be compreed with an easier to find packaging program. pmo

This is actually freeware for home use. This has been my standard zip program for several years. It has always been flawless when using the shell extension within 'file' explorer. Very nice program. It looks like no one has paid attention to this for a few years. It deserves a try.

The interface is extremely similar to WinZip (eerily close in fact), but the price is much more reasonable. Support for all the standards, like ZIP, RAR, ACE, CAB, JAR, LHA, LZH, 7Z and more. Unfortunately, the a comment by a previous poster appears to no longer be true, this software is not free for personal use. (They do have a "Trial Pay" option though, just like WinZip.)

Works ok. Seems to be very similar to PowerArchiver! Especially the second screen-shot http://www.powerarchiver.com/screenshots/

@Floodland It supports 7-zip format very well. You can create and extract 7-zip files. Besides, it's free, but has that annoying nag screen at startup. Very nice little utility with a nice features. Just 3 stars, because of that nag screen and cause there are some really good absolutely free alternatives.

You have to pay for It, but it does not support 7z? Come on! I suggest 7-zip o peazip instead, you will be able to open any format and compress with a much better compression ratio, for free. As I see it, it has no chance: Less for more ($) is not a good choice.

My favorite feature is the simple exploring of zipped files before unzipping, and the F1 access to standard help files is reassuring if I get confused or puzzled. Took me a few minutes to get used to the user interface. As much my old habits as a Con of the program. Plenty of features to explore if you are new to zip files and encryption, as well as a simple way to assure backup of data. As a heavy user of flashdrives, the compression and security for use at client sites is very comforting. A clean effective utility.

It can handle 7-Zip files and has a nice preview feature. At least it's not that expensive like other tools. Only con is it can't pack Rar files. All in all it perfectly feeds my needs. It's realy a good programm.

Easy to use Don't care for having to pay for it but still worth it for the price and much better then paying an arm and leg for Unzip.
