Clipdiary is a clipboard tool for keeping the clipboard history. You will never lose the data you once copied. The utility will run on Windows startup and will record everything you place to the clipboard into the database. At any moment you can view the clipboard history, copy the necessary item back into the cache memory or even paste it into an application. All you have to do is press the "Ctrl+D" keys combination or click the program icon in the system tray.Clipdiary can log clipboard history and record data of several formats: plain text, RTF (Rich Text Format) and bitmap images (BMP) and others. So, besides saving parts of text, you can easily make series of screenshots in your favorite games, and Clipdiary will save them for you.

I'm always in the market for a better Clip utility. I would like to see a better description though-- esp. as far as limits & formats: just a simple listing of each format...very important: limits--- how many, how long... Or is it unlimited? Is 'everything forever' getting autocopied somewhere for easy retrieval? That would be awesome..

Since I switched to Linux as my primary OS over a year ago, I rarely bother to change or even update my Windows software. This program was worth changing to however, as it's comparatively lightweight, and seems to have fewer limitations than most other clipboard extenders.

"Not fancy, but glitch free, and terrific aid" Keeps clips between work sessions (does not clear history when it closes). Intuitive, with painless install and small footprint. And the price is right -- zero. Don't think I can search the clips database. But I'm a neophyte. Also would be nice to have a speed dial of frequently used clips ready for pasting. Does any such clipboard product have such a capability?

OK but I stick with clipx latest v1.0.3.9g x86 http://bluemars.org/clipx/

It is realy great program, but it's not freeware at all. It has 30 days trial and stop running, for that, 3 stars

"A lifesaver" This has a very light footprint and does not try and load up a bunch of other crap into your system or registry. I work online and rely on this little program 100%!!There is no need for any other clipboard application, this does it all! unsure if it shows image previews in tooltip when you mouse over a previously copied image, but if it is not available, it's the only thing i would suggest as a modification. Just get this... you will shave loads of time off of your daily routine... especially if you are the copy/paste king i imagine you are :)

Nice program. Wish I could try it out longer but I'm unwilling to spend too much time on a program that claims to be free yet stops working in 29 days. I only give 5 stars to exceptional programs and -1 for a false claim. I'll keep using ClipX which actually is free.

It's a very friendly program, the customizable shortcut key to make it appear on-screen is a life-saver. I tried other clipboard managers but I never found another one to my liking. It's a great piece of software, but if you're not a clipboard junkie, the price is a little steep :) Bottm line: I love it!

It is able to retain 10000 clips! Imagine how cool is that! from html to graphics. Nothing losses quality. Not like others that when wanting to paste a graphic, it pastes as a bitmap. Clipdiary pastes as a graphic. Can't find none as yet..... I am a graphic designer and have tried looking for a clipboard extender or something so that when I copy a graphic from one program and paste to another it will remain as a graphic and not as a bitmap. Clipdiary rocks my world outdoubtedly... This is just what I needed! If I had 4 hands, I'd give it 4 thumbs up....
