NetWorx is a simple and free, yet powerful tool that helps you objectively evaluate your bandwidth situation. You can use it to collect bandwidth usage data and measure the speed of your Internet or any other network connection. It can help you identify possible sources of network problems, ensure that you don't exceed the bandwidth limits specified by your ISP, or track down suspicious network activity characteristic of Trojan horses and hacker attacks. The program allows you to monitor all your network connections or a specific network connection (such as Ethernet or PPP) only. The software also features a system of highly customizable visual and sound alerts. You can set it up to alert you when the network connection is down or when some suspicious activity, such as unusually heavy data flow, occurs. It can also automatically disconnect all dialup connections and shut down the system. The incoming and outgoing traffic is represented on a line chart and logged to a file, so that you can always view statistics about your daily, weekly and monthly bandwidth usage and dialup duration. The reports can be exported to a variety of formats, such as HTML, MS Word and Excel, for further analysis.

- The Ignore LAN option has been removed from the portable build as it now requires installation of a network driver. Use the installation package if you need this option BOOOOOOO! WTF That sucks! Still the best though!

I can't say enough about this, set it so you won't go over your bandwidth allocaton, check to make sure your connection is set right, locates data hogs, etc. Not a single thing! Get this and try it......you'll love it!

FREE FREE FREE, there is no sucker "Trial", it is totally Freeware, and no ads. - Monitor all users on Network ( except mobile devices...phones Tablets etc) - Export to excel - Alerts you can set for daily usage NONE - Developers are quick to respond in forum and open to suggestions I have searched high and low for a program that would tell me how much bandwidth the PC's on my network use, this is the only one I found that will report back to my PC, I can see all users and the bandwidth they use... Note check settings/advanced and Syncronize... make sure you allow through Firewall... it is the simplest program but tells you exactly what you need and also has Alerts which you ccan set to tell you when total bandwidth ( you set) has been reached. a must have for anyone who wants to keep track of how much internet you kids are using, you can set a password also.... not invasive, just tells you how much is being used, so you can educate them on controlling their ussage. the latest download 5.1.7 was buggy, but I contacted the programmers through their forum and they fixed it write away ( had wrong build on link)... all good now ( Feb 14/11)

Easy to load, interface easy to understand The accuracy is way off, instead of KBs or MBs this program tells me I am doing GBS..lol dont I wish.. I was looking for a small program to tell me what Iam getting or using, however the lack of accuracy had me remove it.. Updated on Mar 1, 2011

It's a freewareIt has quick response and accurate reading, even if NetWorx's performance to be compared with other "Trial" bandwith monitor. Graphic's interface is already quite good, although it isn't very appealing, though it's not important. However, I'd rather prefer function to graphic if it comes to bandwith monitor I already searched many bandwith monitor wares, free or trial, but none does better than NetWorx!(note: I am using Windows Vista)

I was tired of searching Network monitoring tools everywhere. All of them had no simple GUI, was not easy to use, no taskbar notifications about current transfer rate... But I found this and now I'm a happy user with that. It monitors my connections. I had to specify monitoring interface (Network Card) manually... Excellent Software but not popular much. It does what I needed and provide even more details. Why don't you try it? It's totally FREE...

Wow this is great software! Has so many more feature then anything. It is so nice to see a software company like this.
