doPDF 7.1.351

doPDF by Softland Screenshot doPDF Screenshot

doPDF installs itself as a virtual printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list. To create PDF files, you just have to print your documents to the doPDF pdf converter. Open a document (with Microsoft Word, WordPad, NotePad or any other software), choose Print and select doPDF. It will ask you where to save the PDF file and when finished, the PDF file will be automatically opened in your default PDF viewer.

Converts fastFreeAllows the document to be convert right after typing itVery easy to use Installs as a printer driver, so you'll have to open the document before you can convert it, which is a slight hassle when you just want to convert a document.

I wouldn't be without this handy software tool. I've used it for printing up legal documents for court and it is fully compatible with library computers and printers for that purpose. oh and its free :) None that I know of.

IT FAILED!! The first PDF file I tried to create was a .MHT (MHTML Web archive file) and it failed!! The error message was "There is no application associated with the given file name extension" All Windows versions have the .MHT extension associated with Internet Explorer by default and IE will print it ok--it's only a web page as a single file. If you use another browser that supports the file type (eg Opera) then the extension is automatically associated with it. The .MHT extension on my machine is associated with the browser and works perfectly. I'm really getting jacked off by so-called 'free' software that's simply never been tested. Otherwise, how come I found the bug on the very first file I tried it on? It really is hard to believe the developer could be so slack as not to check the normal Windows extensions that one can print from. But it happens.... >:-o Finally this really isn't 'free' software but nobble-ware. Yuh have to buy the full version. It's already uninstalled.

Easy to install and use; convenient when printing to the doPDF; I use it constantly and it works great. I haven't found any cons to this software application Great converter of print files to PDF files

I like that fact that I can check an article for duplication, get a word count and a keyword count simultaneously. My productivity has doubled Don't have a lot of cons the software does what it says it will do. I would like the editing capability to flow a little better but I'm very pleased with the package. Bottom line -- I love having this software on my computer.

I've used others, sometimes the layout gets distorted, not with doPDF.You can print a pdf from any windoes file - its a simple printer substituteIt does multiple pagesIt converts graphics and weird fonts, tables, text boxes tooWin7 OK If you have a background watermark in Word or Powerpoint - it becomes a blot that obscures the text. Best FREEWARE pdf creator on the market - I tried them all and they are left wanting - that includes a couple of prof programs too!Win 7 compatible

Appears as a printer in the print dialog box. That's all there is to it! I haven't found anything that I don't like. This is a no-frills pdf converter that does the trick for making pdfs through the print dialog box. Perfect for making printer-ready files when you are away from your office.
