doPDF 7.1.351

doPDF by Softland Screenshot doPDF Screenshot

doPDF installs itself as a virtual printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list. To create PDF files, you just have to print your documents to the doPDF pdf converter. Open a document (with Microsoft Word, WordPad, NotePad or any other software), choose Print and select doPDF. It will ask you where to save the PDF file and when finished, the PDF file will be automatically opened in your default PDF viewer.

"Morethan Adobe PDF Writer" It can transform my complex presentation slide to PDF without screw up my presentation layout and image, even Adobe PDF cannot do it. Can't find it till now

This is an excellent PDF printer driver. It has printer preferences to increase the DPI output, so ignore the fools that didn't see this feature. I previously used one by PDF995.com but it required many steps to install it, so I decided to find an easier one to install.

"be careful..." Works great for general conversions. Messed up my e mail editor and began causing errors with Word. Had to go thru an automated repair thru M$'s webiste to straighten it all out. Good if you don't mind fixing M$ Office.

PDF conversion is great, software installation simple. Lots of "printing" options available doesn't do much more than pdf creator. Another PDF creator using printer driver. Simple to install and to use. Doesn't do much more than PDF creator, so I will stick to the open-source, free PDF creaor instead of this program which is only a demonstration of a more powerful but paying app.

"Not had the opportunity to use it yet" If it's as effective as the previous version, that's OK for me No negative comments to add I don't have a great deal of opportunities to use the software, but I would prefer to have it available when required, than not have it installed.

Have used this app for a while, and is getting better and better! Is getting better with printing out the contents of webpages as they are, and have not had many problems with this app.

"Easy, reliable." Assigns it self as one of your printers. Select it, select where you want your output, and go. none that i've found. quick, easy, no setup or worries.

"excellent pdf creator" Just as easy as print a document and give it a name. Low sized output files. Freeware. Small download. Frequently updated. Widely localized. Does not automatically convert URL text into actual URL link within output PDF. On windows I guess it's the best pdf creator. Can't give more than 5 stars.

Easy to use, works well, free. Unlike Adobe Acrobat, it doesn't work for all files. Sometimes when I try to print a graphics file, it gives me nothing and I have to use Nitro PDF Pro. This is my default PDF printer for two reasons. The most important is that Because of a glitcvh between Windows 7 and Adobe Acrobat 7 Pro, I cannot install the Acrobat PDF printer driver. The second is that it works better on some graphics files that Nitro PDF Pro does. Specifically, last week, for example, I printed a JPG file with Nitro PDF Pro 6, and it was blurry, but when I printed it with DoPDF 7, it was clear.

"Works just as it should" lightweight probably not a lot of settings (but don't need them anyway)

"Real Fast Conversion" Speedy Conversion None in particular, but it would b better if the focus on window would automatically shift to the doPDF printer window, rather than waiting for me to click on it.

"Good as Primo PDF, but Better File Sizes" Quick and Easy conversions of JPG and Word documents into much more manageable file sizes None I've seen so far I used Primo PDF for 2 years, but found that conversions of 10+ JPGs were converting into 8-10 MB files and couldn't email. do PDF converts into similar quality files, but at half the file size.

"Allows for different page size" Tried two other converters first. This one worked to produce my 4.25"x11" page. I wish it would default to the "last save" location. Add me to the list of doPDF fans. Easy to install, use and has the one extra feature I needed (adjustable page size - that works).

"False file location" When you read cons, it is obivous why there are no pros Save the files in a wrong location folder I wanted to save in C\Users\XXXXX\Documents\Library\articles, were I placed last "PDF print" minuts before. However next time it suggest file location: C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\XXXXX... read more >>

"I think doPDF Free is better than having a printer." Faster than printing and far easier to file and save than hard copies. doPDF Free works so well your printer ink may dry up. Saving articles from web searches was never easier. I tried other free paperless printing programs but doPDF Free was the only one really free. The others were not any better and they wanted you to purchase something to get it free.
