AnyDVD HD 6.7.7.0

AnyDVD HD by SlySoft, Inc. Screenshot AnyDVD HD Screenshot

AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software. It is capable of removing unwanted movie features, including subtitles and prohibition messages such as copyright and FBI warnings. It also allows you to launch an external application whenever you insert or remove a disc, or prevent 'PC-friendly' software from automatically launching when you insert a video DVD.Decryption is not all that AnyDVD offers. You can control the drive speed of your DVD drive, allowing you to reduce the noise level when watching movies on your PC. You can even adjust the display frequency of your monitor for both NTSC and PAL displays. It also decrypts protected audio CDs to allow you to copy them.

Best program in its class of software. This would compliment DVDFab really well as a ripper if DVDFab didnt phone home on error.

Another beta update. The problems with War are fixed but there was a new glitch after the previous problems were resolved for Shoot 'Em Up. They'll probably have a new beta out very soon to fix that problem. Read the Slysoft forum for relevant information. Even with the problem with Shoot 'Em Up this is a beta and the software is amazing. The bug will be resolved in no time, I'm sure.

works well for what it does

Best program of its kind. Removes any protection from any dvd (hence the title) and it works well. It works in the background without user intervention. Nothing else even comes close. I would love to use this with DVDFab, but it phones home so I will not. I am left using DVDShrink. Winkler, I reviewed AnyDVD in my first sentence. Perhaps you should learn to read :)

A rather lengthy change log for this update with numerous issues resolved. Nice work, Slysoft.

I have been using this program for about 5 years now and all I have to say is that its well worth every penny it cost.

A great changelog as someone else stated. Though I wonder how their decision for the new options for the AI Scanner came about? I kinda liked having the option to choose deep scanner etc. I am sure they know what they are doing. 5/5 for me.

Use your firewall to block the "phone home" feature. What are you afraid of ? That the developpers see you're using a stolen key ? lol

Charlie: Again, this is a review for AnyDVD, not DVDFab. I think you must be confused as to what you are reviewing. AnyDVD Does not phone home. It has an OPTIONAL connection to crack the MKVB protection but as I said, that is completely optional. This is a huge update for most of the newer movies with updated protections and it works like a charm. Cracked Mr. Woodc*** for me with no problems. Winkler, my review accurately portrays AnyDVD. I was not reviewing DVDFab but instead stating that AnyDVD would benefit from a combo use if DVDFab didnt have the one bad feature. Learn to read english before trying to interpret it please

To the multi-account/personality troll: This does not phone home. If you disable auto-updates, there is no outbound Internet connection....ever! Still the best DVD decrypter on the market.

Does exactly what it's meant to do, and does it perfectly !

Rated 50/50 by rotjong at Jan 24, 2008

Working beautifully. A pretty long changelog and all the changes are for the better.

Rated 50/50 by dstream at Jan 25, 2008

does exactly what it says on the tin perfectly. Handles newer dvds as soon as they get out. if your stuck it phones home for you and makes the calls you need to your misses exactly like metshrine says. by now he must be upset its calling his house all the time. seriously the best piece of dvd cracking software bar none. winkler you make me laugh each review. ps dont feed trolls

Hah! It seems DanielCarver has tried to take my biff with DVDFab to AnyDVD. Sorry mate, while there is proof with DVDFab HD/Platinumb using open sourced projects there is none with AnyDVD. Besides the fact they used the source code of FixVTS at one point for the ripper in AnyDVD but it was settled with the author. It doesn't use any work derived from Open Sourced programs. Full stop.

Best program of its kind. Does what it says, does it well, and works without a hitch. If you want to remove protections from any type of DVD (HD, BR, or regular) this is the program for you. 5/5

This update isn't that much. Some changes to handle some "specific" types of movies and a change to help the truly paranoid live a less stressful life. Working just like it should.

They are still battling on with Bluray, don't worry about that :P It ain't over till the fat lady sings! Good job Slysoft by keeping up with the protections and improving the AI Scanner.

This is a good tool ! Too bad their "campaign" against Blu-Ray was lost, and the program will soon be next to worthless.

Great software indeed. I'd like to see multi-drive ripping It's possible with other software packages but they hardly have the strength of AnyDVD I'm sick of idiots and their 'Product is useless', 'HD' includes everything. Secondly HD-DVD is not a dead market, Sonyfan boys just don't know about profile 2 yet.

Great software and a nice update. "rotjong" is Dutch, CharlieGimbert. I am most definitely not James Wong.
