Now that it has such a cool album art grabber. Mp3tag's days are truly numbered. Deserves a 10

Getting better and better. There are only 3 things that I would like to see in this tagger (and that mp3tag already have): - Hability to see and delete all kind of field & tags (like in mp3tag, view=>extended tags) -Better autonumbering; reset counter for each directory. - Undo

Crappy UI, doesn't get any near to mp3tag

With mp3tag I have to reapply mp3ext over as it messes up the icon. Only with tagscanner does mp3ext show bitrate icons. The only thing I find mp3tag does is remove a few extended property dialogs (if that), & tag»filename easily. Tagscanner does the actual tagging better. And it's gui blows mp3tag's to hell.

LOL, darkpete, are you serious? mp3tag is ugly and harder to use than tagscanner

mp3tag is easier than tagscanner, but I like it anyway. however, mp3tag cannot run in my office computer equipped with Windows 2000

Very nice program. I would saw that if there wasnt already mp3tag, that this is probably the best tool there is for tag management. However mp3tag has a few more features, but this is worth a try. Runs well, lots of features, and nice interface.

What Happened? "invalid floating point operation" when go to music renamer tab. Back to 5.0.522! Downloaded again 5.0.523 and now works fine! Nice job, congratulations, and thank you!

The addition of some fields in "Filename -> Tag" was nice, but I really don't like this new interface, a placeholder in comment field seems unnecesary and now it's not possible to jump from field to field using the TAB key :( I'll return to build 223.

The best program in its field. I have used this as well as others and none make it as easy as this to tag and properly organize your tracks and audio collection. Very highly recommended!

So I have been using TagScanner 5.525 for about a month now. And I am alternating between loving and hating it. I have been looking for a Tagging program to replace MusicMatch (now dead but you can find it on BT). TagScanner comes the closest. It exceeds it is some areas and is only slightly deficient in others. My biggest problem with the program is the random bugs. For example, I am trying to delete comments from many tracks (eg Ripped by Winamp) and deletes track number as well. I would up the rating if were not for the random bugs.

Looks Like a great program. I downloaded and installed it. Seems to be lacking in any form of help file to help get you going. Right now I use WinAmp as well as Songbird for all my MP3 tagging. Have to figure iut how to use it I guess. Let you know A Help file is definitely a must!

Excelent, I love the new field mixer, the file filtering and the renewed list maker, best program of its kind. @Dana1 It comes with a very complete help file, just press F1 like in any other aplication and you'll see it ;)
