Love Scite, been using it for years. Doesn't have all the features I would want but has all the features I really need.

SciTE is my text editor of choice - but this is not an end user version I can't use the 'raw' software which still needs to be compiled (which this is) - apart from anything else I don't have, nor want, the compiler. C/NET should not be distributing this as a ready to use piece of software.

There is no comparison for what SciTE is, when your doing most any sort of light duty software developing/scripting you can find more than enough uses for SciTE's capabilities. I wish there were more applications this small but useful, five stars.

Very customable, wide coverage of several programming languages pluse usefull wordprocessing features. Overloaded on options, seems to be a bit "junky" with so many options and features. All features work flawlessly, but could use some better help style text and tuturials.

Unable to evaluate because the archive is corrupted Unable to evaluate because the archive is corrupted The SciTE 2.20 archive is corrupted. I get an error when opening it with WinRAR (but it does open), and an error when trying to open it with WinZip (and it doesn't open). The SciTE 2.20 zip file from here is different in size from the SciTE 2.20 zip file from the publishers site.

Good syntax highlighting; good unicode support No macros like Notepad++ Have used it for years. Marvellous bit of work.
