CSVed is an easy and powerful CSV file editor. You can manipulate any CSV file, separated with any separator.

Used this program to help a customer migrate from Lotus Organizer 2.1 to M$ Outlook. The Lotus export was "rough" at best. Downloaded this tool, unzipped it (no install required) and started playing with the exported files. Was able to pretty easily manipulate them to facilitate a smooth import into Outlook. The editing options look deceptively simple, but are very powerful. The interface takes a little exploring to figure out. Has a multi-step undo feature. Can save output in many formats.

Very easy to open a csv file and view it. Column Jump nice feature Default Color, but easy to change I typically was viewing csv files in notepad++, but this makes everything so much easier. I haven't experience any issues with the code and am extremely happy with it. I've actually shared the tool with the rest of my team and everyone is happy with the tool. The default color is a little too much for me, but it appears that all options are available to customize. Bottom-line, if you view csv files through notepad or any other text editor you will be happy with this program.

I had log files that had more rows and/or columns than Microsoft Office could open. CSVed saved me! I used it extensively on files with more than 10,000 rows and dozens of columns. No problems. Interface looks a bit dated, and there is a lot to learn. The icons are small and not intuitive unless you already know what they do. Recommended for handling large files.

Does everything you could want when it comes to manipulating and editing CSV files. If you have a large database in CSV, Excel can't handle it. This program handled a database I have of 5 million plus records with no problem! Can't think of any. If you manipulate large data files in CSV format - you need this.
