Sandboxie allows you to run your browser, or any other program, so that all changes that result from the usage are kept in a sandbox environment, which can then be deleted later. This allows you to remove traces of your Internet or PC activities, as well as reverse any changes to your Favorites, home page, registry and more. Even files that were downloaded during a sandbox session will be wiped after the sandbox is cleared. The program runs in the system tray and if you want to start a sandboxed session, simply launch your browser, or any other program via the tray icon, rather than the regular way.

"Very Good Program Highly recommend for everybody" This program keeps you safe especially when you surf online and also when you download a file or program(from online) which you are not sure whether if it's safe or not that can potentially hurt your computer system. My only con for this program is kinda advance not a user friendly type. But still a good program Overall this program is great(I would had said a solid program but I haven't tested it yet if would really prevent it from malicious program that can destroy your system).

"Great piece of kit." Does what it says on the box Not easy to understand, had to watch youtube video, which is more helpful thanSandboxie site. If used properly You'll not have to worry where you browse or what you download.

"Great program" Very nice program, Ive been looking for one to wipe away spyware that can get to me through my browser, removing with so many antispyware's is a haste. I find the program easy to use, just read the instructions on the website and I was set. There are no cons. Great lil program thanks.

It would be nice if there was a brief log of the changes somewhere for the betas so I know if I'm affected since I'm using XP and I assume most of the new stuff is for Win 7 or Vista.

"Excellent Browsing Security." Great for safe surfing, and prevention of infection from downloads. Not the easiest software to understand . Take the trouble to thoroughly read the information provided if you are a non technical user as I am.Well worth persevering to understand and use correctly for the advantages gained in improving security. Easy enough and clear to run,and see the indicators that you are running in the Sandboxed environment. No problems experienced using it on Windows 7.

"Great way to defend your computer from viruses." I had a nasty little trojan telling me I need to subscribe to a particular virus program. I went to the sandboxie menu and told it to delete contents. No more trojan! Excellent program!! Nothing to complain about. One of the most essential program for your computer. This program is very easy to use. I feel comfortable surfing the web because sandboxie will keep the viruses isolated from the rest of the computer. Go to there website to see how it works.

Usefull: Open untrusted programs, test programs by installing them into a sandbox. Some times a bit hard to understand the more advanced option. It's a usefull program. I use it to run programs I don't fully trust or to find out whether I like a program I downloaded. I instal it first in the sandbox and run it from the sandbox. If I like it I instal the program again outside the sandbox (though it is possible to take the sandbox files and stuff out of the sandbox). If I don't like it I empty and close the sandbox and it all never happend. It's another barrier for malware to take when attempting to take over my computer.

I ran computer cleanup utilities before and after using Sandboxie and couldn't believe the difference in results. Before using, hundreds of privacy items to cleanup (cookies etc) and other items. After using Sandboxie, hardly anything to clean up. I've had a hard time getting already installed programs to run within Sandboxie (different error messages), but I'm not so sure this is a problem within Sandboxie; it's most likely firewall issues since it hooks in system to run programs. I like the easy way of browsing especially since I've had viruses in the past and I know if this happens again, I can just delete the Sandbox and they're gone, and not involving the rest of my computer. i've always wanted to try virturalization and this is the way to do it that's simple and easy to understand for me as I'm relatively new to this type of thing. I've yet to explore some of the features but if nothing but for the secure browsing, I would highly recommend this program to anyone, especially anyone new to computers. Will definitely be using this program for trying new programs so i don't get my registry all junked up needlessly.

Secures your browsers or whatever programs you want. I use this for my malware removal training at www.geekstogo.com University. Keeps my system clean when assisting someone who is infected. Also good for experimenting with infected items. No cons...
