For ripping audio CDs, burning discs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels. The interface is pleasant, and you can configure the well-organized software to suit your needs. After you insert a CD, the Audio CD Ripper window displays information such as artist name, tracklist, production year, length of each track, and length of the total album. The output section of that window lets you set the destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format. MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. In the Audio File Format Converter window, you drop files from your PC into the folder on the screen, then select the format into which you wish to convert the files. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed, and enable or disable the test feature.

Go for one of several free programs that do the job as well as this & maybe better. missyup, I'm annoyed that your SPAM site is using a piccy of me at the bottom of your SPAM site. There must be a hidden camera in my bedroom that took a shot of me changing to go to the pub. :-)

easy to use not a bloated software, similar to Accoustica . Needs more setting options and the ability to highlight all the wanted files to drag and drop instead of the Folder, Tag editing info is not always retained on conversion good free program

I am extremely pleased with the program. However, I tried to get a free program recommended in this tread "Exact Audio Copy ". I pressed the download and ended up nearly to install a program called FoxTab. I stopped in the last second. I even donated 10 $ to this seemingly scam site. I tryed Easy CD-DA to convert my files from WMA lossless to MP3 320 mbit. It worked super, and I paid the fee to buy it. Beware of some of the so called free programs, as they may be dangerous.

Someone mentioned Exact Audio Copy. I tried it and I was not a bit impressed. The damn program wanted me to locate lame.exe in my system. How the hell could I know where that was? Of course I was kidding. I knew where lame.exe was. It's somewhere in the ECDE's installation folder! Easy CD-DA Extractor didn't ask me to do anything after I forked over 47 USD. I like that.

Fast. Easy. All automatic if the CD is in a dbase--freecd, Music Brainz. First 30 days free. Rips a CD of 12 songs fast. Started the rip. Went 2 restroom (#1)-came back-Done! If you only have a few CDs to rip, and don't expect to buy any more, in the post 30-day future, it'd cost you close to 50 bucks -- you'd probably want to use a freebie like CDex instead. If you won a lot of CDs this will make your life easier if you're transitioning to mobile music listening. Otherwise, Very fast.Easy to use.Open it.Insert CD.All automatic if the CD is in a dbase--freecd, Music Brainz. Hit-rip the cd.Tthat's it.Lota CDs?(I'm old&have 1000s+many transfered from vinyl).First 30 days free.Rips a CD of 12 songs fast.Started the rip.Went 2 restroom (#1)-came back-Done!

This is the best program out there for audio conversion/CD ripping. New version supports multi threading for modern processors and it has the best codec support. The developer is really on the ball with regard to feature requests and it is frequently updated. Well worth the money.
