Plato DVD to MP3 Ripper is software that will let you extract DVD audio to MP3, you can select audio tracks, specify the start point and end point of DVD audio tracks and rip them to MP3 files. Supports dolby surround, and can rip any region DVD disc without changing DVD drive region settings.

"TERRIBLE software and the reviews here have been FAKED!" it doesn't break your computer Read the Reviews: they all are different users but have the same choppy, foreign like english being used. the same person is creating ( or stealing) CNET accounts and writing reviews: sometimes they even repeat the review on different usernames The software is mediocre these guys are con-artist skewing public reviews to thier favor: do not download!

"Way too slow" It's cheap It's very slow and you can not edit any MP3 Tag info etc. Better off with Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper.

"cheap progam indeed" it is a cheap program and help me convert audios to my mp3.. not any cons

"Wouldn't even begin to work, for any copy-protected DVD" Nothing, trial was a complete failure. Everything, a total waste of time Don't bother (perhaps use DVD Decrypter, then convert vob's to avi's with Dr. DivX, then take mp3's from avi's & split if/as necessary). Whatever happened to fair use...??!

"Poor audio quality" Program works pretty simply. Both the current version 10.08.02 and an earlier version did not create MP3 files with the same audio quality as the DVD. Sounded brash as if speaker was turned up too loud. Forget Plato. Buy iSofter DVD to MP3 (www.isofter.com) for $29.95. Try both trial downloads and you'll see what I mean.
