Never got to use it, couldn't tell you if there is anything good about it. Never found my ipod, only help from online community suggested formatting my ipod. Totally useless. I dislike this product because I couldn't use it. It wouldn't find my ipod classic, and the only help I found regarding this suggested formatting my ipod. If I could reload all of my songs and movies and photos then I wouldn't need a freaking clone I'd just use my itunes.

Great organization, Nice integration of internet sources. Syncing!!! I initially loved Songbird; it has wonderful organizational features that don't require duplicating everything a la iTunes. HOWEVER, DO NOT use their sync option--it doesn't mean what it does on most programs, and it erased the greater part of my backup disc. I was able to get most of it back, but I couldn't trust the program anymore.

Good features, if they worked Slow to start, CONSTANTLY freezes up, plugins don't work. This program is so bad that it needs to be pulled and all the bugs worked out of it. I can rarely ever get it to play music without either crashing or freezing up... FAIL

None that I can think of. Everything nothing works on Songbird. Another clone of Real Player. It lookes exactly like Real player when it opens. But it is nothing like Real player at all. First of all with real player you can browse the web in it and download videos and it has a plug in to download videos in Firefox and Chromium and playin real Player. Songbird has got nothing of the kind. All right it has a web browser which did surf the web but you could not download videos and you could not play any existing videos saved on your computer files. You could play videos on the web viewing them from within Songbirds browser but that was all you could do. I do not like I tunes and I used to get this when I used to use Safari web browser. Because when you download Safari it installs I tunes as part of the browser and does not give you a choice about if or not to have it. So when I got rid of Safari,I had to uninstall 5 unwanted items including I Tunes which never worked either and i never wanted in the first place. The difference is I Tunes plays only voicmails and music files not videos. Songbird claims to play music and videos, but it never played anything. And I did not like the desktop icon either,it is ugly. forget this product and get VLC Player instead. It will play all of your videos and music files and downloaded mp3 files. unlike Songbird which plays nothing. Andrea Borman.

I still run the old version 1.12 build 1042 which has multiple folder watch. That is why I won't upgrade. Works great for me. Rock solid stable. Just have to edit the add-ons to get them to work with this version. Shame they took out the watch folders on newer releases.

Great media player but the lack of multi-folder watching means i can't use it. Maybe one day.

Still no multiple watch folders, after all these years? Weak.

"Great media player but the lack of multi-folder watching means i can't use it. Maybe one day." My sentiments exactly...

Works well, handles all my needs except mp3, and is Open Source. Slow to load, doesn't include an MP3 coder for ripping music.

Huge selections of radio stations, you can import your music files. None that i have experience.

Looks great, very customizable. Awesome droid player app Everything else. Watch folders don't watch, the software crashes, is laggy, and often unresponsive. Syncing music to your phone just doesn't work well at all. When you spend half the time in help files and emailing support, it's just not worth it. I spent the better part of an evening trying to figure this software out. I really wanted to make it work. I love the player for the droid. However, it's just far to problematic for what it is. This is just one of many tools for listening to and managing your music collection. There are so many other players that work just fine without the problematic learning curve to waste your time on this one. It looked good, but didn't deliver in my opinion.

Love the sound, the features and most of all I love the lyrics add-on. Struck me as being better than that of the competition. I'm a mozilla fan, so I might just be being a bit biased here. Get it. This application deserves all the downloads it gets.

easy to work, attractive appearance and the lyric addons are a terrific feature. Had trouble with the initial installation which seemed to work itself out when I re-installed. Good program, I would recommend it.

- Integrated music player/web browser- iTunes like feel for us anti-Apple users- Sleek design, easy-to-use interface - Hard to support mp4 files (had to convert to mp3)- Am used to the Firefox navigation bar where you type in keywords and it finds the best website / search results; had to get used to typing "Google.ca" each time.- No included equalizer settings I really love this app, and I really can't do too much complaining. If they would do more support for different formats (including video codecs), I would give this 5 stars. But this app, combined with DivX player, is all I need now for my computer. I'm surprised that Apple hasn't gone crazy and started suing to be honest.

I like the fact that it has a Shoutcast addon where you can scroll though all the streams. The old web base Shoutcast interface was great leave it to AOL to mess up a good thing.

@Ain Soph Aur Are you such a tard that you would vote down an app because it doesn't run in linux?
