TheWorld Browser is a tiny, fast, safe, powerful, multi-tabbed with multi-threaded frame browser, it is a freeware with no function limited. It has a new, powerful multi-threaded window frame, which can avoid web page being out of response. It is optimized to avoid any case of out of response. In any test case, if a web page's browser window is out of response, the other windows will not be infected.

This thing flies, comparable to Avant or Opera. No joke. I see a good future for the TheWorld Browser.

This thing is really amazing. Everyone should try it. Very fast, low resources, different skins, very customizable, and what I like most is the auto-hide sidebar for favorites.

Rather disappointing. Sure it is very fast. Light ? 32 MB with only 3 tabs open does not appear very light. The main point is that it is lacking several basic features. No adblocking is a severe negative point : actually there is one, but it is so inefficient that no ad is blocked at all ! Favorites management is non-existent, which is a major negative. Worst : no session organisation and does not allow to open a session as user wants ( tabs order is not kept). Skin management the same, no spacer for toolbars, no button size choice, no toolbar placement choice... Very few plugins ( no Noscript, Flash blocking not working). Those are the few points I noted. No mail client included, etc... So very poor in general. That's a pity as it is very fast. At the same token, its speed could be hurt with more features.

TW 2.0 is very fast! I've been using this and the TW 1series as my main browser for a long time now. It has more features than initially apparent. There are loads of plugins available at the chinese forum but its difficult to navigate with a web translator, however I've found that TW can run many Maxthon plugins: Toggle custom style, Mystyle, Remove link trackers, Picsprawl. View page,Inlinepreview and many more. The toolbars have been improved (but still need developement, you can't concertina them and some separators for definition would be nice) and the multi function title bar [activated in options] means you can drag other toolbars onto the title bar which is usually wasted space in many browsers. Extensive & configurable shortcuts are available but i'd like to see more url shortcut options as in theworld 1x series. TW2.0 has 12 whereas I have around 35 different hotkey combinations set up purely to launch either single urls or groups from TW 1.42 Yo create groups enter several urls separated by a ; into one shortcut box and then launch them by an assigned hotkey. If the best of TW 1x series and TW 2 x series were amalgamated I'd rate it 5. As things stand I'd rate each 4.

Yes! This one is a keeper. I use this one instead of IE7, but I will keep FF a little while longer cause I´m so used with it.I think this browser absolutely is going to break in to the top 5 browsers very soon. Thumbs up!

Its fast cause its optimized but not enough. Cause the memory usage goes freaking high on multitabs and it dosent support all webstandars. At least its lean,500kb,fast and portable... Lets wait for firefox to come up the 1st fastest and bestest webbrowser!

The best purely multithreaded multi-tab browsing experience.

Well, it is as fast as is the Internet Explorer version installed on your system.

Decent browser, but there's no reason to use it... It doesn't offer anything that FF doesn't. With IE, FF, Safari, and now Chrome, there is no reason for another browser unless it offers something unique.

It shows a lot of promise. The page rendering is very good. It's not ready to replace FF. All of the options make it somewhat cluttered and a bit confusing. That's why I like the idea of Google Chrome, as it does the job well and it's simplicity is a breath of fresh air. Although Chrome's interface leaves a lot to be desired. I'm looking forward to Chrome's next release. I doubt I'll be using World browser, but I'll be keeping my eye on it.

It's cool, this is like browsing in IE with Firefox, know what I mean? so far so good, I give it some more time and then I will dare to say that Firefox will have a highly good competitor. Not many plugins yet but keep in mind this is still a work in progress developed by three guys ;). I love the themes! some even top those of Firefox, so this browser does look very nice on that field. It is fast considering that it's not loaded with plugins and all. So, all in all, I give it a good five for now, it is replacing my alternate browser (IE8). I'll keep messing with it and keep an eye on it because this one is very promising!

browsers, browsers everywhere....

First of all, it's just another IE clone. All IE clones will never be more memory efficient than the original IE. Its layout is unique, which is quite good for minimalist design. But its skinning engine sucks big time since it doesn't work properly in my system. If you are minimalist, this is for you. But if you are looking for a more efficient browser, you should skip this one.

Small, light, clean. However, nothing new here. this offers nothing more then FF IE, Safari, Chrome, etc... just another browser. The web standards seem to be on par, I don't notice anything "new" or "advanced" in terms of reasons why anyone would need to use this over anything else already out there with much better track records. For more browsers to be flooding cyberspace, they need to bring something unique to the table. This browser is anything but unique.

Stupid comments, stupid comments everywhere....

Most of the comments are right on. This browser is generic, and also geriatric in it's philosophy.
