Probably one of the better virual desktop managers considering it's free. Didn't do it for me. why would I have to click to other desktops if without I only have to click once on the taskbar? Didn't keep it because it didn't make my windows experience easier.

Gives you a completely customize-able experience. You can have as many desktops as you wish. You can title/give a name to each desktop, set a diff. background for each desktop...lots of fun things. Works well for the first week, then it takes nearly 15 seconds for the desktop to shift once you've given the command. Doesn't have an indicative icon like Linux (you know, the one that you glance at and can see which screen you're on.) I need something that works fast every time, even if you have it set as the number one priority process. I will be uninstalling this with much sadness.

Doesn't make my computer life better. Wast of time. Not my cup of tea.

Works well in Win7, Low memory use and CPU cycle demand. Very flexible. Adds enormous functionality to Win7. None so far. Running without problems on an I5 laptop and a quad core AMD desktop. If you have never tried a desktop manager you really should try Dexpot. simplifies window management and working with multiple projects and programs. I keep an email program on one desktop, A social networking client and the second and my spreadsheet and Word running on a third with multiple browser sesions . One hot key switches between them. This should be built inot WIn7 the way it is in OS X or LInux. Unitl it is Dexpot is a great way to add these features.

-Small Download-Easy to set up and use if you are a little tech savvy, and once you find the settings page.-Good degree of customization with little visualization enhancements to get in the way of productivity.-Makes sense to a windows user. -Would be better if they also had a direct link to using the product in the pop up taskbar menu instead of having to go through the programs menu.-Not quite as cool as Apple, Razz. I immediately fell for this freeware due to it's ease of use, ability to be customized to fit your needs and clean interface to do so. It has been completely stable for me and not caused any problems on my HP DV7 Laptop running Windows 7. I will have to try it with my XP computers (which I currently have less of a need for this feature anyway) to check stability there, but if it has no problems there, 100% recommendation to any Windows user.

I could not evaluate the program because it did not run correctly. No response from support. Menus is not appear after start-up. PDF instructions were not attached to download. Support people do not respond to e-mail trouble reports. Don't waste your time with this program ! ! ! !

Not only is this a good program, it improves the performance and usefulness of almost every other program I run. It is so good I have been using it instead of reading the documentation to find out its real potential. I have problems with the settings being carried forward when I reboot the system and have to keep resetting each time I use it.

Easy install and setup. Good support forum at http://dexpot.de/index.php?id=home. Ability to easily enable plug-ins and customize transition affects. None so far. I highly recommend this program if you, like me, work on multiple projects simultaneously and have the need to keep your work separated. I first tried Vista/XP Virtual Desktop Manager on my Vista laptop, but it didn't work too well for me and it looks like it isn't being actively supported. Dexpot works exactly as advertised. Also, it's being actively supported and upgraded. I highly recommend going to the website at http://dexpot.de/index.php?id=home and reading the FAQ's and forums to help tweak it. I initially had an issue where one of my programs would not stick to just one desktop. Via the forums I found that there's a checkbox in Dexpot that allows it to run as admin which solved my issue. Also, the cube affect wasn't working the way it should, but again the forums had the solution to that too by directing me to uncheck a certain box in settings.

Program appeared to be very good but after a few hours BSOD on Windows 7 Ultimate X64. I never get BSODs and monitor stability closely so I suspect Dexpot but cannot be sure. It's now off and I've been stable for over 24 hours again. 2 stars for worry factor...
