Light resource usagesimple and understandable UICheap to upgrade to pro (especially with the recent CNET deals)Ability to get tech help from the Panda Antivirus forums. (if using pro)Doesn't nag for upgrading a few false positivesscanning takes a little longer than other antivirus programs I've been using my laptop for a little over a year now and my Norton 360 anti-virus just expired so I decided to try something different. I read the good reviews on this anti-virus and thought i'd give it a shot.Once I uninstalled Norton and installed Panda Cloud Antivirus, my computer was starting up and shutting down much faster than before (about a 10 second difference). I was soo pleased with the free version that I decided to upgrade to the pro and it feels good to be able to use the VIP tech forum for any issues I might have.Overall, I think I'll be sticking with Panda Cloud Anti-virus for a long time and NEVER EVER switch to Norton again! Seriously Norton is just a hog that missed 2 Trojan viruses on my computer.

Small footprint. Large database! Cannot think of any except the updater is a little wacky at times... Great anti-virus software for the average (+) home user.

very light weight. detection rate for a cloud anti virus was very good. the scan speed is exceptional and update is also. could have a bit more tools. more options/settings one of the best cloud anti virus there is

Easy to use & free. This qualifies as a virus to me. Doesn't come with an uninstaller, have to setup an account with Panda to request uninstaller. Add or Remove programs won't uninstall it due to you needing their special uninstaller. I'm amazed how so many editors have given this a great, what software are you getting compared to the consumer who doesn't get the uninstaller with the program? How fowl can you get these days.

Did not do well at all in tests/reviews i looked at. Although i believe cloud is the future but Norton after making the most bloated junk for years has now an excellent AV in NIS well worth getting.. With coupons you can get a 3 PC license for £16.

Lightweight, Great idea, good theory, fast ran my other antivirus as a double-check and found 20 different viruses in the psanhost.exe file would have been good if unscathed

Very light on resources I know it's a free version so I can't really complain but more options would be cool. Works well and is light on resources. This program is a must for laptops and netbooks. I saw someone complaining because there have been no updates? Maybe you should read a little about the "Cloud Concept" numb nuts. The idea is there are not a bunch of virus definitions on your computer, thus slowing it down.

Lightweight, quick. Did not catch the the virus posing as "Win 7 Total Security Antivirus" which is a rather annoying trojan that ruined my registry on my brand new laptop. Sad day. Didn't do the job it was supposed to do. Waste of my time, and possibly yours.

Downloaded, installed, and though there were no errors or other problems, this "lightweight" a-v program made my system come to a crawl. Admittedly, the system I tried it on was not one of my four core machines, but a single core Athlon 2200+ [this should be a good test for something lightweight!]. The system was slower and much more sluggish than with the Avira 10 Free version I had removed, so, with a few hours of trying, off it cam and back to Avira 10 Free, which allows the machine to be snappier all the time - including when the full system scan is running.
