"A solid product, although rather bland." It is working very efficiently and easy to use. Need more "color", so that it can become more attractive

"Dependable" good integration with Firefox and even Chrome. Changes FF homepage .. a no-no it works; it is free; more good features than bad.

"Simple & easy to set up" It works very well with Internet Explorer -- like they were made for each other. It doesn't work with google chrome etc

"Can't beat it !" What's not to like? It's free. It works. It does everything that it says it will. It's fast. I find that it works just as well with Firefox as with E8. Just make sure that you click the "No Thanks" button for co-sponsored software when you are installing Downloader.

"Unnecessary annoyance" It works very well with Internet Explorer -- like they were made for each other. It is awkward to use with Firefox. Is it really worth pissing off your users? Why does Orbit have to change my "H O M E P A G E S" every time I install an update? Because of this, I have been looking for something else to use -- something that works well with Firefox.

Good program for downloading (with pause/resume capabilities). You can specify bandwidth allocation to alleviate slowness (during browsing while downloading). There is a feature in this program that redirects dns IF the option is enabled (on by default), easy to turn off. NOTES: - During "custom" install, uncheck "run at startup", "grabber for IE" and uncheck "xobni". - Open program, preferences>general tab, verify "start on startup" is disabled - Go to preferences>accelerate, uncheck "obrbitnet" - Go to preferences>monitoring>"let orbit suggestions on browser navigation options" and uncheck - For some sites that disallow multiple connections for free downloads (rapidshare/megaupload.etc), under preferences>"connections", set connections to original url/max connections per job to "1". optional: you can also remove the "one click" youtube downloader add-on for firefox: firefox>addons>uninstall oneclick youtube downloader Needs a little manual tweaking after install but otherwise works well. You will only get the "downland with orbitdownload" context menu if orbitnet is running. other alternative is Free Download Manager: http://www.freedownloadmanager.org

Tags! I love tag! But this release is still buggy. :( crash if I download file without tagging it while downloading a tagged file and seems like the download speed doesn't change on realtime now Some things I'd like to be added: - "Up" and "Down" button for queue - Automatic pre-specified directory for specific tag - More advanced scheduler 3 stars until they fixed the bug, back to older version for now...

"Not showing to work within Firefox" Past versions have been excellent but this one is not grafting itself into Firefox as another option to download. It is working in IE but I don't use IE8. I suggest staying with the older version. Since the new version doesn't work with Firefox (3.5.7) then I don't care for it. I even tried installing it twice with a fresh download of Orbit Downloader 3.0 between each try. The developers slipped on this version. Hope they correct it in the next update soon.

"EXCELLENT DOWNLOADER, FOR ME "THE BEST ONE"" SIMPLICITY, RELIABILITY, VERY GOOD ADAPTABILITY TO ALL GOOD BROWSERS ONLY IN ENGLISH; I THING IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE TRANSLATED INTO OTHER LAGUAGES. I'VE TRIED OTHER DOWNLOADERS, SUCH US DAP & OTHERS, BUT FINALLY I OPTED FOR ORBIT.

"Pretty great product" It's a fairly quick install, easy to use, lets you save files to any folder you want. If you don't watch carefully upon installation, it will change your homepage. I've never gotten the video capture to work. Pretty good product for free.
