"Makes quick work of downloads." Downloads can be stored or not depending on your preference. The "get it" icon can be annoying.

"FREE, easy to use utility" Allows saved downloads to resume later, remembers everything you've downloaded Interfers with updates from various sources, ie., interrupts the page load Use it on my XP machine, removed it from both my primary desktop and laptop as it was becoming a nusiance

"Very thorough process." Does the job right. Takes too much time loading the menu of programs. I love the product because it makes software removal very easy.

"stopped using orbit" works for awhile Orit seems to need updates every week or so to stay up to date. It will do 20 or 25 downloads from you tube and stop working with you tube. So i stopped using orit and switched to Video downloader helper, which is easier to work with. It's good for free but it's better free stuff out there

"Can't figure out how to use it" None. I didn't get a single satisfactory download. Too many off field instructions. You need a B.S. in B.S. just to understand the book length instructions. Not worth my time. Don't bother with this download. Just get Mozilla to upgrade Firefox to accept RealPlayer integration again and we'll all be fine.

This has always worked great! Does not work with EVERY browser but what does? This is a very good product that does what it claims to do. It is VERY disappointing to read reviews that say things like: "would not download, this sucks" well you might consider that it works for others maybe it is you thats doing something wrong. Enough ranting Orbit has been my #1 download tool for a long time and I have used all the other downloaders and most are good products but ORBIT is still King in my book! Thanks to all those who worked on it and CNet for bringing it to us!

Not much. It took too long to download embedded flash video, and the quick downloads (PDF files) I could have downloaded easier by right clicking. A pop up box kept appearing, and it wouldn't go away. So anytime I wanted to play a game online, the pop up box would block the action. This program sounds good, but the inability to control when it asks to grab or download flash or PDF on a website makes it impractical to use. When playing online games, the pop up box keeps appearing on each turn, meaning that the small pop up blocks the action. After closing the program, everything seemed okay until I went to a PDF document online, and then Orbit locked down my computer while it downloaded the PDF. It did not prompt me about the download. This is very dangerous for computer health. Also, when downloading video, it took exactly as long as the video played. So a 1 hour video took 1 hour to download. This makes it useless when you need to download 30 hours of business videos. Other programs will let you download without having to play the video all the way through. I had to uninstall the program due the lack of ability to control downloads, the long download times, and the pop ups. I do not recommend this program for those who need a fast download program that won't interfere with other normal computer activities.

1) It still makes none LAN users push their download times like if it was on LAN. 2) Download manager is easily manageable and navigable. 3) been using this for months 4) grab++ can get youtube vids Nothing to complain about. It runs circles around FireFox's regular download manager; 3 to 4x faster. It might make your regular internet connection comparable to LAN when using this downloader. If LAN was not fast enough, this thing makes it like lightning (1GB = 5min; 1GB = 20 min without). Plus, when clicking on a download link Orbit is prompted in the same pop-up window with Firefox's download manager. So you can download either way. Even with sites that have poor downloading capabilities this thing just knocks the packets out of it like it was a pinata.

"Does What I need it to do!" It does a good job of grabbing video and audio downloads. Downloads quickly and efficiently. Just that it doesn't grab everything! This is definitely a good tool to have if you wanna download anything. You can grab downloads from media that doesn't have download links. Definitely worth downloading and using.

"I am disappointed" It complete some of the downloads. It provides wide pallets of tools that should do the work. Wont complete the download, most of requested download will start and stop after 10% of file. Good potential, have worked great in the past - not any more.

Easy to use and downloads files fast. Very good. This version provides the 'OneClick YouTube Downloader' addon to Firefox. Beware! My Firefox 3.5.3 would not load until I had to remove it. A very good downloader which is easy to use. I had it ever since my first PC. However, the 'OneClick YouTube Downloader' addon for Firefox does not work for me. Updated on Oct 15, 2009 Update 1 - Unfortunately, removing the addon disabled the Orbit Downloader intergration with Firefox. Tried clean reinstall but it is still the same result. Ah well, returning to the previous version. Too bad because the downloader is my favourite.
