Easiily integrates into IE and works quite well with other downloaders, e.g., GPL. Software Updater option is inaccurate/unweildy. Disable/don't install. Can't drill down to additional links past those of initial start page. Doesn't remember last used folder. Great downloader for getting files linked to a web page.

It uninstalled easy I tried to download a big file 4.6gb got 4.3 AND A BLUE SCREEN!!!!!!!!!! You don`t need problems STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! I realy would rate this -5 stars

Picks up down loads if your disconnected so you loose nothing. Great for down loading programs, or media such as songs or video's the asking for ask to be down loaded at the same time, so unclick the box if you don't want it. Also it comes with a program up date checker for other programs you have in your computer that can be a pain some times. I would have given more star's except for the ask and the program up dater that comes with the down loader. The down loader in it's self is 5 star's but took one away for the other two reasons.The program works like a charm and I do not have any other down loader in my computer that I use.

- Boost your download with great speed and pause the download process which you can continue anytime.- Small but reliable- Easy to manage the downloaded files - Update program notifier still notice some beta or uncompleted version. If you find some download manager and can ignore some notifier, this is one of a good choice.

I liked the way it downloads exactly from where we want to download. No re-download is possible. If for instance we want to download the file once again since we lost the first downloaded file or it got damaged, it is not possible. I liked the download though I've used only once. It would be helpful if somebody taught me how to re-download the downloaded file. It says repeatedly that the file is already downloaded. It doesn't give a second chance. Also it doesn't download from 'any' portal.

*Once it intergrates with Firefox and Chrome through use of a plug-in (I use Flashget) it works beautifully and does not have anything else 2 set up.*I love the new software informer * Rite now, I dont have any problem with orbit.

Small in size, Easy to use.Integrate well into IE8 and Firefox.Doesn't slow down your PC. You can't feel its presence. Didn't integrate at all into Opera and ChromeThe Grab It didn't work on IE8 New version: problems didn't have before, interrupted download or never finished Searching update for your software: don't like it, slows PC, Don't know to inactivate Recommend the previous version it for everyone.

The downloader still works like it was meant. Takes care of all my download needs. The new version is only good for downloading. It's software updater is a joke, the coding wasn't written right. Also non of the links work on it, even the bug reporter button, you'll have to go online and post int eh websites forums. Get if for the downloader, down even bother to use the software updater.I says I have the wrong version of software. I'm updated past the software that it say i needs. Sometimes it wont even have the write info, instead of the update software number, it'll have the build number instead.

So far my experience with this software, it is the best software for downloading videos. It is limited to a few sources of videos. I hope more sources will be incorporated in the future enhancements.

4 stars for the program. Does what it needs to do. It's a good downloader but still missing some functionality for advanced users. Some things I'd like to be added:- "Up" and "Down" button for queue- Automatic pre-specified directory for specific tag- More advanced scheduler

It is easy to use, fast downloads. Downloads over 20mb seems to crash A very good download program to use if you still use dial up.

Ive always loved Orbit, quick and easy capture of FLV from Youtube the the download manager is great as a core download manager it is probably the best although... Here it is: Since they have forced the inclusion of a buggy (what seems to be a false front) software updater reporting such things as... ... updates to Kaspersky that even Kaspersky dont report, my fire wall detects attempted connections every 10mins to black listed IPs, the same two in China. While the software is open. I close it nothing. I uninstall it, Nothing. I re-install and BAM attempted connectionsIve been using orbit for several years, but now with this "software updater" component adding these dodgy interactions I wont be using and will be fighting to get the msg out.

Downloads YouTube as Flash .fla Seem amateurish and broken. Seem amateurish. I'm a programmer and I've written junk before... but usually for my own use or for friends as a one-time solution... maybe a rare-solution. But to send it up for public consumption, even free, tells me the people behind this aren't up to the quality of a program you would want on your machine. IOW, if you see the bugs that's obvious what about the biggest part of programming in the background. The releasing of memory, protection of memory, read/writes, etc. Not worth the risk as there is no way to know why this isn't ready for prime time. Even the "online help file" takes me to a broken page.

The download functionality is adequate and typically improves the performance of downloads. Even though the core functionality is useful, I cannot use this software because the software informer is so problematic. If they fix the issue with disabling the software informer, I would find this software quite useful. However, as it is, I cannot leave it on my computer. Previous issues with Chrome integration seem to have been resolved. There was an attempt to allow the user to disable the software informer but there is a bug that seems to ignore turning off this feature.

I am not a pro. The program was easy enough to understand and replay was simple enough using VCL player. Consistently slowed down my internet connection (on both two computers I owe), both Vista. Eventually it caused too many freeze and crashes. I had to remove it. It also interfered with any other downloading. Great idea, too many problems.
