Every time I use FF it just doesn't even come close. But unlike FF-boys, I'm NOT gonna say that FF sucks, it ROCKS, it's just #2 for me, not #1. Opera > *

SO much fun following the improvement of this browser - regardless of its slow progress. But i think its better than so many others software vendors that just pushes their software out before its ready. Go Opera!!

Opera gets simply amazing. Dragonlfy means a lot. Most of people I know were using firefox for its developer tools plugins - firebug, etc. Now they will be more than happy to switch back to alma browser

Opera - simply the best. The only thing that holds down more people from using it is the fact that it does not support plugins. Dragonfly - crap that nobody really needs.

Wand doesn't work... Many website incompatibilities (I'm sending the problems using OPera menu). Opera is the best browser now and will be ok...

With this new beta release, Opera 9.50 is getting better. However, do not rush them, there are still some issues that needs to be addressed. Opera needs to get out of the "introduce one new bug for every two that are fixed" mode of operation.

BACK to Opera. #1 browser in the universe. I retract all previous 1 stars.

Fast, stable and secure. An excellent browser, it is the one I use the most.

Really impressed. Everything works. I didn't have to go searching for plugins. page rendering is decent, but not as fast or as complete as is claimed. All of my bookmarks from firefox were there automatically. I'll be using it for a long time.

I have tried to turn many people on to Opera. The ones that understood the advanced features now use it as default. There will always be those that cannot understand how to use a browser if it does not look like IE or have some glitzy interface. They are generally the same people that never knew there was POP 3 mail. With various buttons and other things written by the community there is no end to customizing Opera for your own use. Opera was the first software I actually paid for and I have watched and enjoyed the developement.

darthbeads: I hope you know you're a imbecile. Whatever browser YOU prefer, which is prolly FF, I'd never give a 1. I give FF, Avant and many other alternative browsers a 5, becase they are all great, but I just prefer Opera. But if you're too dumb to understand this concept, well, too bad, fam boi.

If nothing else, because any fanboy claiming to "retract" any divergent opinion is laughable and pathetic.

Rated 4, because the ability to block ads is in firefox much better solved (adblock + element hider are a wonderful combination). Also like the poster before said: No real extensions. This widgets are a farce. But: Opera 9.50 thrills me, to change my mainbrowser from Firefox to Kestrel. Why? Because of CSS3 support, faster rendering (and yes, i made the performancetests) IE6 sucked IE7 sucked Firefox2 sucked Firefox3 sucked Safari sucked Opera 9.27 sucked Opera 9.50 no problems So, dear Operateam: Bring us the possibility to include FF extensions & i swear, i'll forget FF forever.

Opera is the best, K-meleon feels and acts like it's in an alpha phase. Although fast, no difference between the two on my 4 meg connection, but lacks in almost everything compared to Opera and firefox for that matter. Stick with the pros and go Opera. 5 Stars

really overrated... make it open source and see it's true potential... not having addon/plugins reduces the possibility to customize... and the mouse gestures are totally crap in Opera... you can't even drag diagonally... and when it comes to fast browsing opera is no match for k-meleon... another issue is the recovery of RAM memory which sucks ass... try opening 20 tabs from flickr or any other site and wait for them to load, then close them and check out opera's memory in use... it doesn't go down... then try loading the same pages again and the dumb opera loads them in memory again even though they already exist there. I'm doing this by browsing without disk cache, which IMO is the intelligent way to browse. i know the startup is pretty fast but the page rendering is not faster than FF3beta, and i'm not saying this as a FF fan boy cause i ain't... my main browser is KM and i also have installed safari and IE7 with the IE pro installed which is also fast[both startup and rendering pages] and give me mouse gestures, adblock and many more features. so stop saying it's the best browser cause u know it's bulls****!! without the possibility of adding plugins nowadays a software is as good as dead.

IPO in this build, really makes a performance difference. Great, Opera is now even faster!
