Sounds like one of the best browsers around and I'm gonna try it out. No cons yet, but I'll add here if I find any one to mention. Sounds like a fast browser with many features that could make surfing the net even more fun.

New design - "O" menu & tab layout. Not fully loading pages. The last version loaded pages more quickly.

It's quick and easy to use You need another browser e.g. Firefox because some sites won't / can't work in Opera.

although it loaded pages and was fast it kept crashing. this browser Opera is difficult and complecated to use. also i could not play videos well with this. Also there was a line in the middle of the web pages and the browser opera did not work properly. Opera is perhaps better suited for a more advasnced web master or for someone who understands the technology better. opera caused so many problems on my computer I had to uninstall it. My advice on Opera-give it a miss-Andrea.

Nice clean layout, swift response times. I cannot approve any software which insists on being the default. Real suffered this defect some years ago and had to retrench. I like to have 2-3 browsers but Opera won't be one till they sort it out.

Its loads very fast - It has speed dial, built in email client, opera link to save my bookmarks etc, it saves my sessions. Its perfect for my pc because its quite slow It crashes maybe 4/10 times. Some sites dont work properly and clicking on links on certain sites dont work unles you right click to click on tab. It only copies plain text with no html . Wish they could allow html copy & paste because that it a big thing missing from it for all the cool features they have. Also wish other toolbars like the stumbleupon one could be installed as the one made for opera is crap. Wish they had plug - ins like firefox etc instead of only widgets. I like some of the widgets but because of the regularly having to reopen them rather than having them already attached to the browser has made me stop using them. One of the good things is how you can use javasripts for other browsers on opera but the only thing is some dont work properly. Though there is opera turbo for fast browsing I dont ever use it because I my surfing is mostly visual so I need to see pictures and turbo reduces the quality. Plus the speed it pretty fast without it anway to be honest. The opera unite is an amazing feature but sadly not used enough or well known enough. Its really a great way to share stuff from pc to pc - entire home libraries even. I used to use it a lot when I first installed opera but only I few people I knew installed the same browser and the sharing thing didnt work so well plus you do need to have a constant network connection. Its easier to go on popular social networking sites to share as you dont need to install a new broswer to do it. But it a really great feature all the same. Yes it has its set of annoying problems I can overlook them for the fact its fast, I like the easy to access side panel (which can be hidden too), the opera unite function (though it does need other people to use it for it to be worth it) the speed dial. I guess this browser can be good or bad dependin

Easy to operate, because it is available in my language Turbo opera in this version does not work. While the previous version works, but it does not increase speed.

It has a few features I really like unstable, a real resource *****. Freezes up with longer use. Does not use Yahoo toolbar. I liked the turbo for weak connections. The other features I liked have been adopted by ie 8 a far more stable browser. No longer worth the trouble for me.

Blazing fast. Looks and feels elegant and expensive with the best skins and layout you can find. Beats others (except chrome) for webpage display (font clarity and look of graphics). I've had website compatibility issues with previous Opera versions, but this version works for everything I've thrown at it. I have no complaints or cons for this new version. Extremely highly recommended. I've had every browser for windows on my computer. Chrome has one of the best web page looks (for font and images) to it plus it's fast as all get up, but chromes problem is that it's pretty basic with a cheaper made out of paper kind of look and feel to it. Firefox has all the bells and whistles but has a blurry look to it's fonts and web page graphics plus it's not as fast as most of the other browsers (but it's the blurred look of it that made me want to change from it to chrome when chrome came out). Safari has the speed and nice web page look but no customizing ability or handy features to it and it tends to suffer from crashes occasionally (something that I haven't experienced with this new Opera since installing it last week) I've used Firefox since version 2 and I've used chrome since it first came out and it only took a week of using this new Opera to make me realize it's the one I prefer. Try this new version of Opera out and compare it to what you're using now. I think you will start to choose it over the others in very little time. PS, in case some users don't know this - if you hold shift down while middle clicking a link it will pull up a menu box where you can change the middle click link option from open in background tab to open in foreground tab - just in case some didn't know.

It has many features. The new Carakan JavaScript engine noticeably speeds up browsing. I have not experienced any crashes with v.10.53. FTP features are very limited. More so than Windows Explorer. I would like more customizable pop-up blocker. I would like to have the option to block pop-ups that appear in new tabs with a right click function such as what Avant Browser had for many years. A true ad-blocker would be nice as well. FTP is very limited in this browser, as you might as well use Windows Explorer, or a third party FTP client.

Speed, Look & Feel... Just nothing

I found that the browser was too clumsy to use, I wanted something that my husband who is not real computer savy would find relatively easy. This was not it!. Too user intensetoo difficult for and inexperienced user to manage.Pages were too cluttered. Crashed all the time and was not easy to set up I uninstalled it pretty fast!

"Opera is my default browser now as I feel Opera is faster than Firefox" ~And~ faster than Chrome. [ Chrome slowed down a LOT when Google actually added some features to it ! As long as Chrome couldn't do much more than open Web pages, it really flew. But -as The Computer Rodent predicted- giving Chrome a little real functionality had the parallel effect of slowing it down considerably. ] Thing about Opera has always been it's customization. Opea users stick with it year-after-year because they like they way they can configure it. ( I've been using Opera since back in the days it had ad's ...and you had to pay to get rid of the advertisements ! ) Opera has always been the leader in innovation, too. First browser to use tabs, for example. Much of the stuff just now being touted for IE or Firefox has been available in Opera for ~years~ ! Only complaint: Opera v. 10.5x removed a couple of their best features. Like the minimize button on sub-windows, and ability to categorize widgets by placing them in folders. Hope this doesn't represent a trend. The Computer Rodent

NON not one single good thing they just cant seem to get it right I am not sure they even do when they update because it doesn't ever seem to work completely 100% good this time worse then before it loads slow it cant even render speed dial tabs in the home it sucks and I have given up after 3 years of wishing im now with Firefox and i think im staying there, PS OPERA chrome has been around for less time and there browser works flawlessly so whats the issue ?

Easy to use, quick and way ahead of the competition. There are some sites that insist on being IE specific. If it's a shop I don't use them. So much for standards....... In terms of Opera I think it's way ahead of the rest. For instance, it retains the tabs from a previous session making it very easy to pick up where you left off on a site. The speed dial is also a very handy feature of single click for sites. Some of the competition is catching up but why has it taken so long?
