"Smooth, Proffesional and lightening fast." Clean tidy and cool interface, very responsive, innovative, intuitive. Great! None so far. Google chrome looks like duplo, IE is old, firefox feels almost as old. Opera is refreshing, fast and feels proffesional. Not like some that feel like they are patronizing you with size 47 font and giant colorful buttons. Very pleased. <... read more >>

Mainly its stability and ease of use. It's not really a problem with the browser itself, but I do find Operamail a bit of a hassle. Right now it has become the most stable of all my browsers. If I, without thinking ,click on to a site and IE launches ,it can spoil my whole day. It wont shut down, it never works, it always seems to be festooned with a dozen toolbars, in short nightmare. Opera, on the other hand, opens up like a song you love to hum.

Doesn't work on WinVista SP2 with WinMail as default e-mail so guess I'll never know if I love Opera Browser or not. Can't give a higher rating since it doesn't work for me...

I installed it, tested it, loved it !! Great brower if not the greatest. One particular feature in IE8 made me go back to IE8 however: "Close unused folders in History and Favorites". Maybe it will be added in Opera ?

I have been using this Wonderful Browser, since they started V 10.5 and outside of a few problems, that seem to go away, with each new Build, I really like it. As far as the Problems go, there is no perfect Browser. They all have there little Quirks. And I just accept it and move on. If you have ever tried writing Code, for a Browser, you know how hard it is. So, if your Browser doesn't work the way you like, there are lot's of them out there. Enjoy your Day!!

"Overall I really like Opera 10.50." I like the interface and the functionality of the speed dial, it really helps to navigate much easier. The speed that the pages load is also very appreciated. I have had some video issues especially with the Vimeo viewer. Aside from the above mentioned issue this would be my primary browser but until this issue is addressed Opera will have to remain a secondary browser for me.

I been using Opera since version 6. There's no real reason it can't work if you're willing to put in the slight effort. 10.5 is better than its ever been for coming out of the box without having to do too much to have it work like the other browsers. As for someone saying he can't log on ebay, I never had any problems with it.

the beast browser currently. beat Google Chrome in Peacekeeper Benchmarks... some amazing rendering results, but needs to improve on the graphics front a lot..

User Interface: Fixed Drag and Drop not working in some instances Deleting a bookmark closing/collapsing all folders Focus being lost when deleting bookmarks Integrated search performing searches in Google and not in the page The Opera O menu button reappearing when the Menu bar is enabled The Opera icon remaining in the system tray after closing Opera Minimized tabs not displaying after a restart Favicon not being added to Bookmarks due to a question mark in the filename Individual characters in Chinese text being rotated anti-clockwis

Very disapointed with this new version. I've installed it above an existing installation of opera 9 which was managing 5 emails accounts and: 1) I've lost all my emails after the 2009/10/26 ??????? 2) I've lost all my contacts 3) no backups where performed before installation, so everything is definitively lost. 4) I was quite pleased using Opera 10.50. I had installed it on an old copy of opera 9 and everything was OK. Mails and contacts. So I was quite confident with 10.51 :( 5) I do not receive any new mail except with one of my accounts. I'm very upset and would have put 0 stars if possible Will go back to thunderbird and firefox definitely

Same experience for me as RC3 - it hangs for about a minute (ie no window opens) before doing anything and then crashes. And again they call it finished software like 10.50. As such if this was my experience the first time I tried the browser I probably would not bother again. As it is I know it's been a consistent browser over the last twelve years of use and it offers the experience I want, I will persevere a little longer. I look forward to 10.52 or 10.53 where they actually fix the rest of the serious new bugs they've created since 10.20. Oh and darkwzrd1, you are a wanker. You don't bother to review the software itself, you just repeatedly call other people "freak'n idiots" if they happen to rate the current version of Opera very low. I notice you didn't provide a solution to my issue. 10.20 works fine. 10.51 does not. Enough said from me, feel free to continue however.

I've been using Opera for many years. In this latest version, no page loads completely. Is midway. Improved in many respects, but worsens show all pages. A pity. In spite of myself, I can only give two stars

"i like this browser but firefox is better" faster than firefox don't know

Rated 40/50 by sjscorpio1 at Mar 28, 2010

"Pretty happy with this" It's so much faster and haven't had one crash.I can multi task in and out of sites pretty fast, more efficient and accessible! So far I really like it ! It allows me ways to change around my browser bar, sidebar and toolbar settings to my liking. Took a little (couple days) time to get used to the difference in this from coming from a long time IE user because they are a bit different but once you do you'll be happy. Not as many apps to pick from but for me so far nothing else bad! Bottom line for me is I have had no security problems since installing and no crashing as w/IE I had constant security problems ands way to much slowdown and it's really been so fast and I like it a lot!

I used to like much more the 9.x GUI. Still a good browser, but less usable than in its previous incarnation.

Rated 40/50 by gargamel360 at Apr 19, 2010

FAST above all else ( any1 still stuck with dial-up should try this), good built-in features( speed dial, user/author mode, turbo). Occasional lack of function( web page buttons/text boxes don't work(rare)) slightly less safety/flexibility than Firefox. Like foreign food; Try it with an open mind, you might like it, but don't call it bad for simply being different. Since these guys are into mobile browsers before many, I'd expect that they aren't going away soon.

The B-E-S-T browser. The DELETE Private Data. NOTES button, all copy and paste in text there to read later. PERSONAL toolbar, tiny buttons (with site logos!) SPEED DIAL (needs 50 windows). START UP recalls back sessions. TURBO speeds pc on low b/s. BUT...I`ll keep 10.10 version. Installed the new 10.51 version..SURPRISE, the DELETE PRIVATE DATA dissapeared. ...and Opera needs better downloading opera-tion. You turn off the browser it erases all your bytes downloaded. The Greatest Browser on the Web (really dont mind the gadjets and widjets toys) but dont rest on your laurels. Careful where you step! I`ll wait for version 10.6 or 7

-Fast startup of the program and fast browsing. Faster than other browsers -Interface is comfortable, simple and functional -Runs scripts (ie facebook chat) faster than other browsers -Creative functions such as speed dial, opera turbo and notes -Cant display some pages like IE. Some forms, drop down menus, script stuff or tables in pages arent displayed OR dont function. This is very important for me. I cant use Opera as my default browser just for this. I cant trust it. -CONS (continued)- This (above) must be the priority in the fix-list of Opera guys -Not much Add-ons like in Firefox -Needs a work around for download function -Opera guys must add some middle mouse button functions like in Firefox to provide a more comfortable browsing -i dont like its password management --------- Opera gives me the impression as if it is not a final product. The browser needs some more development in codes and scripts stuff to view pages correctly. It is one of the fastest browsers and has one of the greatest interfaces, both in functions, how it looks and speed, but i am going to keep my internet explorer as my default and "trustworthy" browser to view "important" stuff.
