OpenOffice.org Portable is a fully-functional package of OpenOffice.org optimized for use on a USB key drive. It has some specially selected optimizations to make it perform faster and extend the life of your USB key as well as a specialized launcher that will allow you to launch it from the directory of your choice. It will also work from a CDRW drive (in packet mode), ZIP drives, external hard drives, some MP3 players, flash RAM cards and more.

Full suite of office without cost! Didn't find any problems with using this program. This would be a great alternative for anyone not wanting to pay the high cost for a Microsoft program and willing to put a little time becoming familiar with it. No cons with this product or download. FREE and fully functional!

Loads in directories and subdirectories of your choosing, allowing you to place the programs on to portable HDs, travel drives, etc. I found none as of this writing. I use OpenOffice.org software every day on my home computer. Other computers I use do not have this software. I like the look and feel of OpenOffice. With this app, I can take my full OpenOffice program with me wherever I go. I placed it on a 30gb hd in a pocket-sized enclosure powered by the USB port. Now, wherever I go, and whatever computer I use, I can use my favorite programs, save my files, and not interfere with my friend's or customer's software or programs. Furthermore, my saved files are never located on their computers.

It's good to carry OpenOffice on USB. Initializing is too long. It could take several minutes.

Not challenging to work with. Mostly self explanatory Nothing is wrong with this suite! All software should have the attributes of Open Office. I mainly use it for the word processor program, in my home. I have no business interests.
