The best defrag app there is. Always has been. I've been using O&O Defrag since version 1.0 (Build 21) back in 1998. I've owned every version since. Today I'm running O&O Defrag 12, the most powerful version yet. Long live O&O Defrag!

"perfect defragment tool" Many features, much faster than windows defrag, background defragmentation maybe little bit complicated, but I don't have any problem with it.

None unless you like spinning your wheels. Read the low end reviews. I got that install flag while running a 64 Bit 2.4 Ghz machine with 7 gig of ram on a 7200 RPM hard drive, running Vista Ultimate, all with no problems, yet it wants NT 32 bit. Lame. Don't do it unless you want to install dot net crap you'll not otherwise use. Waste of my freakin' time.

I have been using O&O since v.3 and it's a solid work horse. Aside being able to tweak the way it defrags, I like the ability to view the drive in 3 pixel blocks -- and click on them, i.e. on the most fragmented areas to see which files they are. It might seem a be a bit complicated for basic computer user due to its tweakability, but the default settings are fine. As stated above, solid and efficient.

My favourite of the 3 I have (O&O Defrag Pro, Diskeeper Pro, & PerfectDisk). Regards, Roberta

None at the moment. It is the slowest Defrag software I have used. It has been running for over 2 hours and still has 20 minutes to run. I recently defraged my HD and it took about 10 mins. I ran this O&O software and it is either the most efficient or just the slowest I have ever used. It has been running for over 2 hours and says that it is 63% the way through. When this finishes I will uninstall the software and carry on using Windows defrag or Auslogics.

The interface is clean and easy to understand. The installer was very efficient. The concept of fastest Defragmenter out there is a farce. I did a test defrag on my smallest hard drive 149GB which has a 25% fragmented file ratio. The ETA is 11 Hours. If I use any other product I get an eta of 1-2 hours. Looks like a good company especially with the amount of products to offer. Just I am not sure they know much about defragmentation nor do they understand what FAST means. I surmise if they put in even half the time it took to get the pretty look and feel of their website into making this product we'd have seen a better and more rounded product. I cannot in good faith offer anyone to use or try this product out until they refine it past the current version 12.5 .

Keeps my disk optimized all the time without my intervention The first defrag can take a while, during which time, all of the files on the disk are placed in alpha order for quicker reading the rest of the time You can't beat it, it makes the disk write orderly all of the time, so that it does not really need a separate degrag session. This is the way to do defrag, IMO

slick interface slowbuggyuses too much resourcesruns as a windows servicedeclining customer support The current version is 14. I've used this program since version 10. Over the years, each version has progressively become slower and buggier. The current version sometimes loses it's way with unknown system consequences. Customer support has waned over the years to the point of arrogance possibly due to overwork.O&O Defrag uses some type of buggy board specific copy protection with the consequence that it sometimes refuses to run. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the program does not fix the problem. This is the second time that I have encountered this problem. The first time 3 years ago, customer support provided a special removal tool. This time, they refuse to even admit that a problem exists.I have decided to shelve O&O Defrag and use the free Defraggler now, which with it's newer interface is now worthy of system defrag replacement. It has a very small foot print and does the job for free.Considering the systematic degradation of this program over each version and through the years, the next version will probably be the scariest of all. It's always a shame when a good program evolves or should I say devolves over time to the point where the software and subsequently the company is no longer viable. Sometimes you really have to stop program development while you are ahead.

- Fast, doesn't bother when running in the background- Only +/- 20 mb install size- Can perform boot time defrag, quick defrag, quick optimize and full optimize - None that i can come up with Before i tried the windows 7 defragmenter, diskeeper and perfectdisk. Perfectdisk and diskeeper where also very good but where very disturbing when running in the background. And there UI is not that simple to read. O&O is really the best for me

Defrags better than most None that I have come across as yet. Free version available on vendors' site.

This is the best Defrag software period, nice family/small business site license. Works seamlessly in the background. Best feature: moves your OS and most commonly used programs to your fastest drive so if you install a SSD - voil- data's moved. Would prefer the Workstation version which I thought I had. Best of Breed
