Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite and managed by Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 22.51% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of May 2009, making it the second most popular browser in terms of current use worldwide, after Internet Explorer. To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements most current web standards in addition to a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

None I can find Let Chrome be Chrome, go back to being Firefox. Don't bother.

Firefox has long been one of my favorite browsers.... ...so I'll wait a while to see if they can fix it. If not, I may go back to an older version (like the ones that use to crash a lot ?!#)... Firefox, despite some major design changes, still has that ephemeral quality known as "vibe" that is distinctly all it's own. It's also probably the most customizable browser out there. But when a major update comes out only 2 weeks after it's release, and I go on the add-on gallery and find that one of FF's major supporters and contributors of a custom collection (Apollo) is slamming Mozilla and advising people to avoid v.4 and download v. 3.6 instead , I get the inkling that FF4 may have been released prematurely and needs to go back to beta. I'm not a techie, and take everything I hear with a grain of salt, but for the time being I think I'll leave FF in the garage until Mozilla works this out. No matter how fast or fun it is when it works, if it's not stable , then I'm not interested.

None. This is the worst update to anything I've ever seen. Black text on a gray background? Very annoying to the eyes. Moved everything that was fine where it was around. Pain to move it back. Can't find all the functionality that used to be there. Can't believe firefox released this.

Previous browsers l liked the ease of use and all the add-ons. I have not found all the add-ons in this one yet. It crashes and seems to use a lot of memory.

Bigger viewing area, streamlined look, better "personas" to choose from. Shortcuts like the "close" button on my mouse no longer works to close each tab. Instead it tries to close the window. Getting the menu tabs is a pain. So, they're all condensed into one button but then you just have to go through each pane by pane. More cons: random crashes, runs slower than FF3, using the "reload" button sometimes adds the page you're reloading to your "frequent visit" lists which is a pet-peeve of mine. Personally, I think FF3 was a much better and faster running browser and I wish I could convert back to FF3 but FF4 won't allow me. Did a system restore and FF just quits working and forces me to install FF4. Found a download for FF3 but there were fixes that are no longer available causing sites I visit to malfunction. There are bugs in FF4, lots of them, and until Mozilla figures it out, I'd wait to update if I were you.

There probably are some, but the slowness makes them irrelevant. Seriously, unbelievably, intolerably slow. Did I mention that it's slow?I cannot believe CNET gave this 5 stars. Please have someone who's neither a fanboy nor employee of Mozilla re-review this.

There are none. They should have left it alone. My Robo Form has not been able to work properly since the new version. Also many of my addons don't work right anymore. I'm going back to IE. They should have never done it without testing it. I was a long time Pro FireFox user, but this update has me so frustrated, that I'm back to IE.

Looks neat when it works. Rarely works properly. Icons move/vanish frequently. Slow loading. Sites display poorly. Falling further behind Chrome. So poor, the rating box didn't work on this page. If it had, I'd have given it one star. Firefox 4 was a long time coming. It should have been longer. If they can't do better than this - and soon - they should do a Netscape and give up,

I do not see any advantage to Firefox 4 Firefox 4 will not automatically log-in to my favorite forum like Firefox 3 used to do. Firefox 4 will remember the user name and password and will enter them as soon as I type the first letter. But I should not have to enter them. Firefox 3 did it for me. I was automatically logged on as soon as I went to the forum website. Now with Firefox 4, I have to manually log on every time. What a pain.I wish that I had never upgraded to Firefox 4

I can't find anything because of the memory leak force me to close it. memory leak that I can't use it. Extreme memory leak that I never seen before, I always like Firefox and always has some memory leak. But this Firefox release, it's try to use up all your memory until you close the application.

Let's see, the download was smooth. And, well nothing at all that I can think of. Upgraded from 3.6 which worked fine. Web sites which always loaded and loaded fast now do not. I reload and reload, often to no avail. I am not fond of the interface but I'd learn nit if there was any point to it. No way to revert. I'm out of here! Naturally, I am having trouble uploading my review. It just waits and waits.

Most Configurable and Convenient with all the add-ons that are provided. After FF is running for a while,my computer starts getting real slow...uses alot of CPU,and Physical Memory. FF is my #1 choice in browsers, however after it is running for a little while I usually have to restart it because it slows my computer down ALOT.If I dont do that,Firefox will end up just crashing.
