Good removal tool for AntiSpyware 2009, if you are stupid enough to install it, other than that it has poor detection rate. My system had several trojan infections and Malwarebytes only removed one of them. However Avast saved my system and removed the worst 11 of them except 5 infections, and F-Secure's online scanner got two of them and Spybot removed the other 3. I thought Malwarebytes was the best trojan remover but found it is highly over rated. I wouldn't buy a product with this poor detection when Spybot can find more trojans.

Excellent removal tool and far more useful and up-to-date than the forever behind-the-times Spybot Search and destroy. I use this to augment antivirus programs of various types and find that the defs it uses are generally far more current that Spybot's. FIVE stars for a relevant and above all current weapon in the arsenal.

it seems good app but i face a bad experience with mbam team i put testing tool for their application , but they delete it without reson they said its clean with all AVs , so i see there isn't any reason for delete it this is the link for the tool http://elearning.najah.edu/Data/tmp/mbam_test.exe password: test ps: admins , please if you find this harmfull delete it now but in the same time , if you test it with know infection, don't do what mbam team did with me :)

If I could give this 5 Star application 10 Stars, I would. It cleans Viruses and Trojans off computers that other applications will not, and does it easily and well. My wife clicked on a file from Facebook that claimed to update a viewer necessary to see a video. The result -- a virus that sent out emails to all her friends to see the video, loads of popup advertisements on her desktop, and a hijacked browser, that went to advertising sites rather than to the security sites requested. I checked "Startup" applications and removed two that should not have been there. I then used Spybot S & D to try and clean the computer. 4 files and registry items were cleared. The popups stopped, but the browser still was hijacked. I then downloaded and ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware which found 25 files and registry items, and it cleaned them all. Everything was back the way it was before. The computer has now been running for a couple of weeks with no problems. Thank you, Malwarebytes. By the way, Malwarebytes is shareware, but the trial version will work at no cost. And if it does work, you may wish to say "Thank You' to the author by a purchase.

Clearly one of the best antispyware that I've tested. I'm regularly cleaning infected computers. Usually Kaspersky + Malwarebyte + Autoruns are doing the job. In some cases, I made use of other tools like sdfix, smitfraud (mainly)

Not too terrible for cleaning standard bits of malware, but if a machine is rooted it will almost always be blocked from starting anyway making it somewhat neutered.

Currently the best, single anti-malware solution. But, like all it's competitors, it doesn't catch everything. Performance is adequate - despite what other reviewers have said its scanning speed is average (particularly when compared to AV products like the new Norton - Malwarebytes takes 2x-3x as long on a machine).

One of my better purchases, the signatures are updated several times a day, light on resources, I run it in the background along with Super Anti-Spyware. They reside happily together and seem to catch all Spyware etc between them. Highly recommended.

An idiots version of Ad-Aware. Not really impressed with performance, I found it to be quite slow and less effective than the more reputable scanners I use everyday as a technician. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know.

This tool is updated regularly, alwys up-to-date for the latest nasties, and it SHINES where other suck, that it : Properly getting rid of malware and their nasties in our registry in system folders. 5 STARS.

I personally found the program quite useful. I have had some problems with various systems arriving with viruses etc. This program combined with Hijackthis have worked many times when Spybot, Adaware and various antivirus programs are blocked from starting. This should be in you toolkit. I gave it 4 stars because I have found it most useful as a step in a process.

I used to love this program until this recent update. It just gave me over 600 false positives (confirmed by submissions to Virustotal). This stupid program wanted to delete my entire Windows directory and many, many system files. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is now officially crapware as far as I am concerned. I hope the developers can get this program back to where it should be. I might use it again if they do. Until then I would advise anyone to stay away form this release.

Simply the best. Now isdrastically improved product load speed on slower machines and Improved malware removal capabilities. IP addres blocker protect you by drive by download and will block websited engaged in malware distribution.

Great little piece of software for detecting nasties, top of the line software, even more so since its freeware! To Sammo - That's a very strange problem you're having, never heard of that before. But i assure you this program is not crap, thousands of others are out there that can verify that as well.

I had issues with version 1.40 & contacted support who replied in less than 30 mins & I was told they were aware of the IP module blocking sites that are OK & a new version will sort it. within the week, this was 3 days ago I put version 1.41 on last night & have no problems, all issues I had are now fixed. I just ran a full scan which went smoothly. A great program with the best support I have ever had with any program ever, & that's in 14 years of running a IBM PC clone.

Was very easy to setup and run. It was not able to completely eliminate the malware on my computer but it got further then anything else I tried. My brother in laws computer had a really nasty malware and this program at least got me to the point where I could save his photos before I wiped his drive out. Nothing else I tried could even get the computer to finish booting up. The computer did in fact work after I finished running the scan but it kept saying that it was missing a .DLL file. That was the last remnant of the malware. It probably could have functioned like that but it's better to be sure.
