This is the best program out there to clean up your PC. Especially for preventing those "scareware" fake anti-virus programs that seem to be popular now. For their real-time protection at $24.95 (one time fee) that is the best deal on the Internet! None........... Pay the $24.95 for this product. The real-time protection is worth every penny.

Free, relatively small footprint, great reputation and used to work well for me. Used to work well, but now it always reports nothing found. Yet I can run Spybot immediately after and find a dozen tracking cookies. Is Malwarebytes only going after the big stuff? Maybe, but I do not trust the results, so I do not feel secure. Does not seem to be functioning correctly.

Had two trojans this found plus numerous adware. This program took care of all of them. A lot of major computer problems that this help to restore my computer. Wish that it scanned automatically. I tried several things: restoring my whole computer to factory settings, going to windows and hp sites for information on error after error. Nothing was working. I never dreamt that I had trojans on my computer. It is only three years old and I have always had anti-virus on it. This detected it and deleted the trojans and adware that it found in an instant after the scanning was complete. Since then, my computer is accepting the restore and changes that I have done and is working again. I had restart problems, missing files that I could not recover, and my wireless card was not working. I have 85% of it fixed now and do believe that I can get the rest fixed because the malware is now off my computer. Instead of having to purchase a new computer, I truly believe that I can totally restore this one.

Easy to use , works fast ,finds & removing threats. Some false positives Good value freeware back-up scanner .Nice addition to overall system security.Easy to use ,works fast & removing threats (unlike other programs that make you upgrade to paid version to remove anything).Finds some false positives ,dont play well with some other security freeware (EAV Antivirus Suite).Nice free software overall

I typically use the free version to manually scan computers that seem to be infected despite having antivirus protection. Malwarebytes always seems to find 99.9-100% of the nasties in the first pass! I guess the only cons are that in the free version you don't get automatic updates or real time protection, but hey, they had to limit something in the free version. It really isn't enough to make me sad, but I had to put something in this box :) In my opinion this is hands down one of the best broad spectrum malware detection and removal programs. Its interface is easy to use and understand, and it gets the job done at a great price. Just have to remember to update via the update tab before each use if using the free version.

Price is right, and it really does dig up stuff some standard anti-virus programs don't always notice. None that I have experianced. Good stuff. Finds the bad guys, and it's free!

excellent detection, fast scanning none that i am aware of i have used this for a few years, and have found it to be the best freeware spyware scanner, bar none..It well deserves the "editor's choice" aware given by CNET

Install found 2 or 3 pre-existing items, a believable number on a system with quite a few hours on it. Runs well with anti-virus program I use. Has found a couple of items when checking downloads. Needed to uninstall once, no problem.. re-installed. Kind of slow to start. All in all I think it does the job and fairly well. I'm pleased with performance. Works well with my anti-virus and doesn't seem to slow computer down.

Quick, free version, removes most malware Background scanning only available with paid version One of the best malware programs out there, it removes more than other programs and the $24.95 is relatively cheap if you want the background scanning.

One of the best anti-virus programs I've come across... Malwarebytes scanned my entire hard drive in under 30 minutes and detected (also permanently removed) serious threats that my pay-for subscription virus program could not even find. Very pleased Nothing so far Stellar software that I would recommend to anyone

Fast, easy to use and effective. None that I can see. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware seems especially good with Trojans and cleaning up Window's registry. Found 13 vulnerabilities on my computer that Microsoft's anti-virus software missed. I'd recommend it to anybody who uses a Windows computer.

Didn't keep it long enough to find out I downloaded Malwarebytes on the basis of glowing reviews saying it was particularly good at rooting out things like Antivirus Pro. Unfortunately in my case it turned out not to be capable of fixing it. I got infected with Antivirus Pro. Malwarebytes found the Trojan and rootkit OK but not the code inserted in IE, so the infection kept re-loading itself every time I went online (using Firefox) and Malwarebytes denied all knowledge of the re-infection. Eventually my PC slowed to a stop and needed a full Windows reinstall. So, no help at all really. Maybe I just had bad luck.

Removed viruses/trojan that disabled my AVG installation. A little slow, maybe. More than I want to pay for the full version. Even though I've had AVG installed since forever, my Vista machine was infected by some trojan, I don't know what (it immediately disabled AVG, Win Firewall, installed the malware Defense Center, along with xhfhgebdbadw and some others). I tried manually deleting files, but couldn't find everything myself, of course. This took about 1 hour, 10 mins to scan all my hard drives, but it seems to have found everything. If the full version were cheaper, I'd totally buy it just for helping me out.

1. It could detect even newest virus/melwares 2. Unlike many other free melware protection software, this software can not only detect but it cleans up the system with possible threats even with the free version. There is nothing noticeable. I would recommend this software.

superb free anti-malware app! BUT... i think it has issues on it's interface beacause whenever i use different theme/visual style in my winXP machine except for the Default/Luna Theme, because instead of the word "Exit" on the exit button it only displays "Exi"... here's an example image: http://i30.tinypic.com/2hnqulv.jpg
