Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50

A free, easy to use malware hunter. It can find things Norton misses. It works great on my Vista desktop, but it takes forever on my Windows 7 laptop. I have to use another on this computer.It should take less than 35 minutes to do a quick scan! The above is the only complaint I have, or had with Malwarebytes. If the makers of this software address this(Windows 7), I promise I will download Malwarebytes back on my laptop.

Roots out lots of things other programs miss. Managed to install on a family member's computer that was nearly crippled and it found and cleaned up the mess. Wish it would update automatically on the free version.

this is the best spyware cleaner everit can detect any type of malware . plus its freeware the update size everyday is 4mb something. too hustle haha. i think they download the whole virus database everyday and everyday overwrite thats why they upgrade their software every month for the compress database built THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Promise

Finds an incredible amount of malware. I use this when all else fails - and it works! May be too powerful in the wrong hands. I think this is a wonderful program, due to it's ability to find the majority of problems. However, I don't use it on a regular basis, just when serious problems occur.The main reason for this is it's power - it's main advantage can also be it's biggest disadvantage. It's very easy to make a mistake and botch things up!I recommend checking, then double-checking, before changing anything.If you know what you're doing, this is an excellent program.

Being "Computer Challenged". I liked the ease of use and the available information to help Me understand what it does and how to use it. Not to be cheesy, but. It did what I hoped it would do and was easy to set up and use. I guess My only complaint "at this point" is it is not highly advertised and I knew nothing about it before I downloaded it. While researching My problem of rederection and Internet Explorer not being able to connect, I kept seeing this Maleware tool being recomended on many Geek sites so I downloaded the installer and called My local "Geek Squad" and asked if they have heard about this software. They had and said give it a try. If it does not work' it will be around $130-to-190 dollars to bring it in to them. And I would have. Geek Squad is great !!! So I clicked on the Malware 1.46 installer icon and it opened and began to install. The instalation was straight foward and went without a hitch. I restarted My computer (Windows Vista 32bit) and crossed My fingers. I opened Internet Explorer and went to My favorites and clicked on a link that would not open before Malware and the link instantly opened and I began to experiment with the rest of the problem sites and all worked great. Buy this program,Buy this program, Buy this program. Did I mention You should Buy this program. Well if I did not "BUY THIS PROGRAM. Geek Squad liked it, now so do I. Thanks Guy's for You're hard work and great product.

Its FREE, effective, and FREE! I have yet to find something about this product that I would say is a "con". Bottom line, you may never need this, but if you do, you will never be happier.

You can find badware even if you can't initially update the program at first. Then once you remove some of the bad files your able to update the get rid of the rest. Like all anti-virus programs it's not 100% affective. I find the free version to be very effective and even if you decide to pay for the full version, it's only a 1 time charge and cheap.

It is easy to use! You only need to go through one or two menu's that are very direct! So far from what I've seen from this program is that it does it's job, and maybe a little more! It is not a complete database of malware, but there is nothing out there that is. To be blunt, it works! My company uses the full version to clear out virus's from computers and it does a beautiful job, only once in a while do we need to go deeper into the registry and pull out some trackers, maybe one or two nasty Trojans but all and all it is a great product! A must have for any computer user!

When my antivirus seems ineffective...trust me...this one will detect and remove it... what's with the 4MB for every updates...

I had to get it cuz i got attacked by AV Security Suite (the fake AV nightmare)yesterday, and it was fast and easy to install and got rid of the main problem. It turned out that I had a separate Google search redirect virus that Malwarebytes unfortunately didn't catch. If anyone reading has the same problem, i JUST got rid of it with TDSSKiller. http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684 Got rid of half of my problem! Still impressed.

I had major virus infections in my netbook. Malwarebytes cured everything. I required support and it was quick, clear and concise and effective. None that I have found. It works. I don't know what else to say - when it works and works well - the consumer is happy and I am.

seemed to partially remove malious threat, but no way of really knowing absollutely NO support or response from numerous requests paid for software and cannot get support to respond with a authorization code. i have tried MANY times and NO response

Simple user interface. Reasonable scan speeds. A good adjunct to your regular AV. Even the paid version does not have all the bells and whistles of the big security suites such as McAfee and Norton. Does not include some of the capabilities of the big security suites, on the other hand it catches malware that they don't so MalwareBytes fills a niche quite well.

It is easy to install and to run, and I haven't ever found that it has missed a problem. I have not found any problems. I wouldn't ever want to be without this program. If something slips by your anti-virus program, and if you run this program each week, it will find it and remove it.

ammmm...... :-/ Leaves back trojans.. what more can one ask for!? I would have given this one a negative rating is possible... Left trojans - Generic.dx!syr, while searching the PC for malware.... how ironical. My McAfee antivirus found and deleted them... Please dont use this...
