What happened to all the previous reviews of this product? Can't seem to find a link to read 'em. Anyway, this app is rarely updated, and doesn't work reliably for me. It's not too expensive, so if it actually worked well and was updated frequently, I'd give it more credit, but when you have alternatives that are updated frequently and are actually 100% free, it's hard to consider this app a worthy investment.

"easy to use and can copy right to computer" you can copy right to computer and also customize what special features to copy also. Very simple to use and fairly fast took about 25 minutes to copy a 1:35.00 movie to my hard drive. when copied to your hard drive the files are just like they would be when you explore your dvd, so you have to figure which player to use and what file to start with so you dont have to keep playing one chapter at a time.

"It simply works! ^-^" + Rips everything i've thrown at it + Does it fast! 20mins for 1 movie or 1 disk of episodes + Has options to shring dual layer disk down to 1 layer + Can copy to another DVD or harddrive + EASY to REGISTER! - Actually there's nothing much I don't like about it. I'm not too fond of the transparent "non generic" windows window in general, but that doesnt affect how it works at all. o.o All in all, this is a hidden gem, imo. It simply does what it says! ^_^

"Can't use trial version" don't know of any trial version doesn't work downloaded the trial version but you have to buy it to actually use it even though the description says "free to try."

GREAT SOFTWARE. JUST INSERT A DVD YOU WANT TO COPY AND A BLANK DVD AND CLICK ON "GO". SOON YOU WILL HAVE AN EXACT COPY. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

"GREAT SOFTWARE" IT COULD NOT BE SIMPLER. PUT A BLANK DVD IN ONE DRIVE. PUT THE DVD YOU WANT TO COPY IN ANOTHER AND CLICK GO. SHORTLY THE DVD WILL BE COPIES. IT WORKS ON EVER DVD I TRIED WHICH IS A LOT I COULD NOT FIND ANY IF YOU WANT TO COPY ANY DVD, THIS PROGRAM WILL DO IT. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

"works as promised!" Trial version was easy to use and faultless. Made a perfect copy with just a push of a button. I will definitely purchase this software. Probably haven't used it enough to notice, but I don't see any.

None found - couldn't even try a free trial. Unable to use the free trial. Never installed this before but got the following message after install : Thank you for using the trial version! You have 0 use(s) left to evaluate Magic DVD Copier before you register it. What's the point of offering a free trial when the trial just seems to be the installation! Complete waste of electrons.

Ease of use. Copy to a 4.7 (most common) re-writable disk or an 8.5 (like real DVD's are written to) re-writable disk. Small installation footprint and no extra uneccessary software included. Works on Windows 2000, ME, XP, Vista and 7. Hard to find due to lack of marketing. Sometimes you get a read error... but just try again and the error usually disappears. For the everyday user who is tired of paying $15 to $20+ for each DVD that comes along, this is the software for you. It's so hard to get people to let go of $35 for a peice of software but I promise it's well worth it. While there are cracks and keygens to pirate this software, it's a great feeling to know you paid the person or person's responsible for creating such a money saving technology. It doesn't matter what protection is used to copyright the DVD's because when it all comes down to it, the every day DVD player has to know how to play the DVD and that severely limits the manufacturers options as to how well they can protect th disk... and this software exploits that verywell. The quality (even on a 4.7GB DVD re-writable disk) is incredible. If you are a stickler for perfection and Hi-resolutionfor large screen TV's, then just opt for the slightly more expensive 8.5GB DVD re-writable disks, you're still saving an enormous amount of money in respect to the cost of retail DVD's. The software is so easy to use... just pop in the movie, answer one question (do you want the copy on a 4.7GB disk or an 8.5GB disk?), then let it fly. You will have paid for the software in only 4 - 5 disks that you copy. If you are the totally honest type that is using the software to "Backup" your disks, then you have still saved yourself possibly thousands of dollars you would have to spend on re-couping your collection. As far as quality, this is a bit for bit copy, so it's impossible to lose any quality on an 8.5GB re-writable disk. You get the menu, Special Features, Setup menu, everything... The problem with the previous version was having to manually update all the time. I've used this program for several years and the auto update feature in v5.0 is great! This program literally does what it says and is one of the quickest! Previous version was having to manually update. v5.0 takes care of that, so none! This is a great program and is easy to use. My free version several years ago worked as promised and I am a lifetime member with them. Thank you for a great program!

it's a great program has a simple interface the bad thing is that it's a trial version I have another program which can do the same thing and it's freeit's called AS DVD copier :DVD Copier is a program for Windows that allows you to grab data DVDs, HD DVDs, Video DVDs and Blu-ray disks (ISO) containing any type of files into a blank DVDV disc or to an Image file (like ISO format). n00bware. Only a clueless n00b would pay for this. There are many freewares that do a LOT more than this simple junk.
