Everything is self explanitory and its ready to go after installing. Couldn't be simpler! I've been using uTorrents versions for a while, and haven;t found any negatives as such. If anything its the need to opt out of the 'launch at start up' option, but thats not much hassle to correct

It has no spy ware, at least, not as I know. My AVG Free Antivirus did not find anything. A great feature is uTorrent can speak your language! You can chose your native language when installing the program. You can also change it later. None till now, but be careful about the content you download, especially cracked software. I don't remember well, I've installed a lot of programs lately, but is very likely to be "invited" by the program to install Ask toolbar.Chose custom install. I must say that I use for the first time a torrent program and I am very pleased with utorrent. Many years I avoided this type of program because of the adware and virus problem they bring. But this one is clean. I can't say the same about others. I downloaded once the kit of eMule and the antivirus found a trojan in it. The same hapened with the kit of Limeware, although they are both very popular, and the last one, Limeware, was referred in a magazine as being adware free. But uTorrent IS adware free! At least this version...One odd thing - the internal search engine is based on another popular torrent program, Bittorrent. I'm not very informed, but I guess those two programs are related.If you are a fearful person like I am when it comes about "gray" programs, then you can choose uTorrent because is OK, simply to use and is smooth with the system.Enjoy!

Small size, light on resources. You can truly set it, and get on with your normal tasks and have your files waiting for you when you get back. Integrated search seems to simply hand you off to the browser with a tailored search query. This is a small quibble since finding torrents is a whole different ballgame. If you're looking to download music, then you can't go wrong with this client.

It does what it's supposed to do and doesn't mess around with anything else. I wish more programs were designed around this philosophy.

EXTREMELY simple in use (even hosewives will cope:), very reliable (never let me down once), supports good download speeds (of course it depends on other factors as well, such as network connection speed,etc. ), plus -VERY LIGHT on resources can't think of any as yet. I'll tell u more - before i bumped into this one i had not even used torrents - 'cause all clients i had tried were either too complicated to set up , incovnenient or didnot keep up speed. utorrent suffers from none of it - it a true torrent genius: unpretentious, light, small - but fast, reliable and hard workingDo NOT hesitate a second - throw away any torrent clients u have had up to know, install this one and forget what a torrent-related problem is!

Small footprint. It's definitely not a power hog. So easy, a baby could use it. It's a perfect piece of software. Absolutely none. I have been using this for almost 2 years, and have never had a problem. I've tried a few others (Bit Torrent, Bitcomet, etc...), and I'm not saying they don't work. Utorrent just beats them all.

They keep saying that UTP has been improved, but I keep enabling it and seeing unbearably-slow download speeds. And I keep seeing performance skyrocket when I disable it. Oh well.
