uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients.

Perfect. 2.1 is coming along nice as well: http://forum.utorrent.co....php?pid=449956#p449956 Though it tends to crash on me a lot. After all it is an alpha. ;)

"Good things come in small packages!" Everything is a pro :) If there is one, I couldn't find it! Small, fast and efficient! What else do you want?

Started downloading files quicker at faster speeds... but it keeps BSODing my computer! At first I thought it was a driver issue (at least that's what the BSOD said). Nope. Made sure drivers were up to date. Even rolled back drivers to known working ones. Only other thing I've installed recently was uTorrent 2.0. Now that I'm back to 1.8.5, no more crashes. I really wanted 2.0. I REALLY wanted it. It promises so much... it just doesn't seem to play well with others...

Very nice. As a show of appreciation, I will download the movie Avatar and send a copy to their hard working staff at the RIAA free of charge. Best P2P client ever.

"good, better, best things come in (very) tiny packages" small, light, user friendly, resource friendly, with the new search bar it beats all competition. there are none for the average user. but for individual tastes - getting new skins is annoying and its not the fastest stuff out there without accelerators. this product beats them all. take it. its free!

Downloads are deifinitely faster and doesn't appear to impact web access. New transfer cap is great idea if it's necessary to monitor bandwidth. Can't configure it to wash my car. User friendly interface, bandwidth control for both UL and DL, avg. CPU usage whether up or downloading is 1% , able to choose downloads from multiple file torrents, magnet uri association, (one of) advanced settings forces first/last piece download to enable early preview for quality and file validity, etc, etc. In other words, total control.

"Easy To Use" Down loads are faster than previous issue I tried it once before and it didn't work but this time it was great. It is easy to use and the downloads are faster than an earlier utorrent download.plus it is freeware.

"not very stable" its free, it uses less memory than bitcomet i have a 50mb isp., zonealarm firewall, vista yet uttorent goes unresponsive far too often, im only downloading 4 files at a time yet this seems to kill utorrent i used to use bitcomet which let me download 24 files at the same time.. why is utorrent getting worse ?? try bitcomet first i rate it higher than utorrent

WebUI doesn't work anymore with Firefox 3.6 :( All I get is a loading message.

"An improvement but needs a better support for Windows 7" Skins, fast torrent downloader, extra options added Utorrent doesn't fully support Windows 7. Putting the programm to the processingbar is gone, we need the magic from the new taskbar!

"Fast, simple: it does what it says, and does it well" Summary says it all: it downloads fast, installs painlessly, takes up very few resources and just works. What better praise do you need? Can't actually think of any...

"It's OK but limited downloads" Maybe OK for some I'd Skip this one unless desperate There are better torrents out there, Look around

"Haven't got to use it for downloads yet." The utility and appearance is straightforward. The screen shot is neat in appearance and simple to understand. I have yet to discover how to use it so I'm still researching. The instructions on its function seems sparse or I am not looking in the right tabs. I have yet to discover how to select a file for downloading then how to download that file. Which is strange since I've used the previous version successfully.

I'm not loving the 2.x series so far. Unless I disable the new "bandwidth management" feature, I get maximum upload speeds that are 40-50% the actual max supported by my service. If that's some sort of built-in QoS feature, it sucks, and sucks hard. P.S. A guy going by "Fatbas****" is criticizing my nick? Wow!

The best! I agree with "emanresU deriseD" (stupid nick) that the bandwidth management feature sucks. It has to be disabled!
