Looks like this is the 1.8.3 stable since this is what you get when you click "download uTorrent" on their main page, now. But my 1.8.2 client doesn't automatically update to 1.8.3 yet. I guess it'll be within the next couple of days, if not sooner. No problems at all so far. Still as fast and light as ever. @ bigmama - Vuze better ?! in what... ?! Vuze now is bloatware PoS... I dont need program to downloading my torrents and eating over than 200MB RAM...

It works.--One of very few no nonsense programs. I especially like its updater-do you want to upgrade? Click yes, two seconds and done with no forcing me to say "[Good Doggie!! You didn't crash]!"

I've been using v1.9 beta build 14981 for at least a couple months now. Eventually these other builds may catch up though I have no idea what the specific differences may be. works well

This program works very well, has a wealth of features packed into a tiny program. None of the bloat associated with Vuze, none of the hijacking of associations and stuff associated with Bitspirit. This is the best torrent client for Windoze out there.

Looks like this is the 1.8.4 stable release. Didn't notice any difference. Excellent as usual.

I don't like uTorrent pushing the ask.com toolbar. In addition there is a sort of hidden downloads as Mamutu software warns " Program tries to download invisibly data from the internet"

The finest torrent client. Nitpicks: Some of the defaults need work. The installer is overkill. (It merely copies the executable to the Program Files directory) The installer's "Run at Windows startup" and Ask toolbar AS DEFAULTS are very annoying. The default interface/icons could use work, too. (I recommend "µniversal" by savaden.)

Installer? who the **** installs it? rename, overwrite exe at location of your choice & it reads what it needs from THAT folder. period

Still has an anoying bug. Cannot create a torrent, just sits and will not open the save dialog. Same bug reported in the uTorrent forums. Everything else works for me: rating 4
