Seems to find everything. Flags perfectly safe files. During my first full scan, Immunet indicated that it had successfully quarantined the same W32.SPERO virus over 100 times before I halted the scan to investigate. It turned out that Immunet had incorrectly flagged over 100 executable files that I know are safe. I write a lot of code and created every single one of these files. None of my other antivirus/anti-spyware programs have ever flagged these files (e.g. iOrbit360, Malwarebytes, Norton, SuperAntiSpyware, AdAware, Spybot. I had to restore every quarantined file one-by-one before I unistalled Immunet. If you don't mind a lot of false positives, then this application may be for you. If you don't create custom code like I do, then perhaps you won't have the same type of problem. I like the concept of Immunet. I think it just needs a little more work to get the right balance between security and convenience.

the free version works well alongside your antivirus with no conflicts and adds an extra level of protection ive experienced higher false positives with immunet (which may or may not be a bad thing)so if you do a lot of installing of software you know to be safe its probably better to have immunet disabled great for an extra layer of protectiongood free versionworks alongside antivirusbut is known to have false positivesprobably best if you really need the extra layer of security

Free version works well, runs along side any other anti-virus without problems, non so far anyways... Operates in the cloud, so you need to a connection to the web for it to work correctly. (That is my understanding on how it works) Non as yet... In these days of web drive by attacks and malicious web content; it doesn't hurt to have some extra security tools at hand, this runs at startup, so is there from the word go...

Very light on resources and really quiet on the background. It's really because of the "cloud" technology I think. No necessary downloads.Tried it with Avast free 6 using Vista Home and MSE v2 using XP Home SP3. No issues whatsoever! None as of the moment. It's really a recommended anti-virus companion. A secondary line of defense!Cheers to Immunet Protect 3!

small footprint with no system slowdown with Avast 6, nor any compatibility issues. (being designed to play well with others is always a plus) and no need for upgrades (theoretically, at least.) Programs' efficacy remains a question mark. The concept of "layered protection" is attractive to a lot of people, myself included. If Immunet were to catch only 1 virus a year, it would certainly be worth the amount of disk space it takes up. The main thing is that is doesn't slow my system down at all , so it's worth using, particularly for real-time internet protection.

Seems to do what it says.......to a degree Doesn't get along with some programs I tried this and it found two trojans that Avast and Malware Antibytes had missed. Whereas these are two of my three mainline defenses, I have to take their word for it that the trojans actually existed. My third defense is Counter Spy. Although Immunet claims to work with other programs, it did with Avast and Malware Antibytes, it shut down Counter Spy completely. Faced with a choice, and being a long time Counter Spy user, I decided to forgo Immunet and deleted it. I wish it had worked but...................

1. Light-weight 2. Cloud-based database (database in computer not needed) 3. Zero-time up-to-date database 3. Shield/Scan at zero-time 3. Computerbased ClamAV (Optional) 4. No Conflicts with Other AVs 5. False Positives Reduced in this version 1. Still False Positives Appear Immunet Free (with/without ClamAV) is suitable as a supplement to other AV product as a seciond opinion.

It is compatible with Windows and Malwarebytes Anti-malware free. Was told by OS tech didn't really need one with the bytes, but wanted one to be extra safe. So far none, time will tell. Tech is reason switched from an AVirus and ASpy to the reccomened one. Got Immunet Protect for personal comfort.

Good reviews from several credible sources, came highly recommended. None that I can name in my case. Had it only a few hours. Crashed twice after installing. Slowed system to a crawl. programs and apps took forever to open/launch. On startup programs on delayer launched before firewall which has no delay time. Running XP SP 3 w/Avast! 6, Online Armor 5 and Malwarebytes. Thought I'd found a nice replacement for Avira 10 which I kept as a trusty AV backup and for my on demand AV scans. Immunet did not seem to get along with my others security programs. Had to uninstall.

Free... I just wanted to put "Free" but was informed in big red letters that I must use at least 10 characters, so... Once again,,, The Pros are: FREE False positives It certainly does not hurt to use this program, the false positives are kind of annoying, but I would rather have this occur than actually letting in some crap to my computer.

It's free and easy enough to install and use. It' hard to conclude weather or not it actually does anything. I've had this Immunet Protect Software for a little while now. I got it free from the Google Pack Website. It is supposed to be "cloud protection" that somehow gently and perpetually scans your computer for malicious software while never interfering with its' operation. It is supposed to be a compliment to your existing security software and is not supposed to have a bad reaction with it. It is of course, free of charge (the basic version is anyway) and it can be found on/in Google Pack; which in my experience makes it safe. It is easy to use but it should be noted that its' interface is more than a little slow when you click on its' various tools and features. It does not slow down your system or cause it to behave strangely. I know this for sure because I uninstalled it for a few days and then reinstalled it. During that time period my computer worked just as fast as it had while Immunet Protect was installed and there was also no change in speed after I reinstalled it. However I'm not entirely sure if it actually does anything. Since I first got Immunet Protect I have probably run over twenty scans with it and never even once has it ever found anything. I find that peculiar not only because theoretically it should have found something at least once, but because I have also run numerous scans with my regular security software and it HAS found a few things. So I do have questions about this software's effectiveness. However it should be noted that this software is supposed to find, identify and stop problems before they get into your system and become an issue. At least that's what I think. I could be wrong. Which brings up a salient point. The descriptions of this software found not only here but on its own website and elsewhere are rather vague about what it actually does and how it does it. At least that's how I see it. Also Immunet Protect claims that it

It was free to try. Not sure what, if anything, it did.
