I like the 'set priority' function. It saves the audio file faster than other programs and tells you how long it will take. I have not yet discovered a timer facility (it may be there, just not located it)You have to know how long the recording will be before you start. Better than my current softwareIt will be used a lot.

I like the ease of adjusting presets, to whatever you use most often not easy for a newcomer to use, but the manual is huge help Works really well for cleaning up my old vinyl albums

I;ve been using Goldwave since version 1. Its editing and effects abilities are great and the tools, preview of major changes before applying and detail views is super. Really none I can think of. If you need an audio editor to manipulate sounds and effects for games or simulation, you cannot go wrong using Goldwave. The demo version is fully functional (some time limit that I hardly every hit) so there is not reason not to try it.

GoldWave principally has it all in one application. Numerous effects all with sounding preview before selection Does a lot in a click of a button. Is a great sound file converterVery colourful.Fast and accurate. Plenty of features & functions. Reverb effect isn't natural sounding. Hiss/Hum/Noise reduction reduces the overall sound quality GoldWave is your beast friend for sound editing and effects, plenty of useful features which are surprisingly easy to use and so thus one doesn't need a university degree to get to grips with it. The only drawback is the reverb; it sounds tinny and electronic not the natural church like sound I was hoping for. Hiss reduction seems to radically reduce the quality of the file your working on but that's about in in the negative department. Goldwave is colourful and essential for anyone needing a easy to use sound editing software!

What little I could dicipher, it looks to be a very useful application. Need a whole encyclopedia to learn all the choices available. Did not like-do not have the time to read a whole manual, if there is one vailable.

Once you figure out how it works, it works consistently well. The online manual looks complete but not very helpful for non-audiophiles.

Vast tools. Easy to use. Able to open and save all audio formats, including many others can't. No negative comments to speak of. Love the new version. Loved them all, actually. Been a user for more than a decade. Tried many before, and many since, but I always come back to Goldwave. The plugin library is an added bonus, too. Do yourself a favor and try it. Then you'll see to why you have to buy it. Can't beat the price!

Comprehensive - Does everything you would want to do and aften times more. Free updates. Goldwave are always finding something more to add to the program. None that I have found in 10 years of use. Though I have been using it for 10 years I still find things that I didn't know were there. I suppose it depends on what your requirements are at the time. Unless you want something full blown professional, like FL Studio, you can't go past GoldWave 5.58

Does as it says, I no longer need to keep one hand on the volume control. Takes a wee while to figure out. Good.

So easy to use, but powerful at the same time! Some other programs have more features, but not ones that the prosumer users with any frequency. Goldwave has everything the non-recording-industry user needs! Awesome!

Includes advanced tools to work with audio files, and provides the option to do batch processing. None so far.
