Tip: if you uninstall the trial version you might get a window that offers you 25% discount valid for 2 hours. No cons found but I'm not a network expert. Sweet 'n easy tool if you need it.

Nice simple feature packed calendar program This program somehow slows down your video card. I did a "Performance Test" on 3D rendering and it slows down your GPU processing by 66%. Not good at all. Although this program is useful, I have doubts about Rainlendar. How could it slow down my graphics card? Bad coding?

Pretty graphics. New version will expire after 12 months unless you keep paying the annual subscription. Slow. No SpamCop reporting. Old product was great and I stuck with it for almost a decade. New version is a money making excerise in my opinion. Slower than the old version and fewer features. Happy to pay the subscription, but not happy that the software will stop working if I do not pay up. I've changed to another product. Updated on Aug 25, 2010

Nothing in this version. Get's stuck at "Gathering information, please wait..." when i try to write a CD / DVD. Sometimes get's through it, but then it gives me errors when i try to do anything and get's stuck again. My DVD drive stops responding completely. This used to be a good, to-the-point software, but now it's just useless. My DVD drive crashes completely when i try to write a CD / DVD, and i have to take the power off my computer to get it back to normal.

This is actually one of the lightest free av's and is sufficient for its price, just pair it with a good-great firewall, I prefer Privatefirewall and this combination is very light. If you have a problem w/ this setup it must be your PC. the very long install-sometimes you'd think it stalled - but just let it be.DO NOT touch it unless the installer tells you so. You have to be extremely patient during install. It is easy to go wrong during install which probably happened to some. For free this is already great protection w/out going over, what it lacks you can make up with by installing Privatefirewall which has behaviour blocking, HIPS(IDS) and registry protection. This is a very light combination which I use in an old PC from 1999 and it feels fast! Try this combination I'm using it myself. Just be VERY CAREFUL and PATIENT during the install of Ad-aware. Also just as backup on demand scanner download Malwarebytes, disable autorun, update windows and other software, do not use pirated progs or torrents and last but not least limit the websites you are visiting.(I might have missed some but I think ad-aware free and private firewall should cover it). Again, in case you have a prob with this combo then most probably there must be something already wrong w/ ur PC, if this is the case then its best to reinstall/repair windows first before installing Ad-aware and Privatefirewall.

When I first installed the program, it found a virus that Webroot didn't find. I think the program would be good if I could actually get it to finish a scan without crashing every time. The interface is easy to use. I can't complete a virus scan. So far the company has been unresponsive to this issue. They ignore you unless you purchase a licensed version and charge $70 for technical help. Customer service sucks. Might be a good program if they fix the bug. Right now, if you have Windows XP, don't waste your time. If you have a problem, you're on your own. I'm amazed that they would release a new version with such a big problem. Apparently, they don't do much testing before releasing their upgrades. Bottom line: Crappy!

Nothing Had to CTR ALT DEL for Task Manager to kill the application Sits there forever, very annoying! Left it running for over 24 hours but still 'loading' I liked it on XP but needs fixing for W7 Removed it, why waste download account limit for nothing

custom commands and simple user interface.. "CLOSE" its difficult to use this command i had to say twice or thrice ! Everything is ok with this software for me but it will be better if it had scrolling commands to scroll while we browse the internet.. simply 5/5

Free, easy to use and update. Run a couple of spyware programs behind it and they catch little or nothing. Lately, (new version?) when I run it to check for spyware, the hits have jumped way up. So I ran it several times in a row. I get the same 75 hits each time. Now if I removed then how come I get them right back? Either a glitch has come up in their updates or they may be padding the hits to show the program is working. Before this I'd give it a five star but this has got me on guard now.

Does everything you may need or can think of, once you learn what to include in your installation scripts, in what order, etc. Seemingly, creating professional installers requires a lot of procedural scripting. When working with this software, I have an uneasy feeling of being an inexperienced rookie, and I haven't felt that way in 20 years. The main and only problem is that the 5-star ratings scale has to accommodate all available free installation tools. Having used InstallJammer for a few months, I have to give InnoSetup Compiler three stars, as more t than one star separates InnoSetup and InstallJammer in my view. Still, InnoSetup makes the top-5 cut, but definitely not as #1.
