It's free. The software has been established for several years. Algorithms are pretty good and they provide frequent updates for the signature database. Appears to clean all malware I didn't want it to be open and running all the time. Had to stop it from doing it on msconfig. So far no malware on the computer

shocking - can't trust CNET any more Malware - can't get rid of it, directed me to another site that I stupidly clicked on, and Windows hasn't worked properly since. I guess we can't trust CNET downloads.

it uses only a little resources still take a little bit to open on systems with out alot of resources does an excellent job and the fact it is free for personal use is great I would recomend this software to anyone

Found items others skipped or missed. Not sure yet. Still testing it. It does a good job so far removing a lot more adware, malware, then others I am using.

I don't know as I now have adware that I did not have before and cannot figure out what it is a it does not show up in the Task Manager when I activate it. I cannot configure the softare; HELP Cannot see that it actualy does anything althogh I now have adware that I did not have before!

It wasn't what I was looking for, and now I can't get rid of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't get rid of it. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, which is fine. But, when I can't get rid of a program, that's unacceptable. There is no uninstall option, and there is even a forum discussion on this at Sumatra's site from 4 months ago, so this is a known issue. Completely unacceptable.

Does the job. Not too aggressive cleaning the registry. Cant find one.

i bought Snap 3 and pretty much ignored it. recently i decided to try it and see what it was about. very soon i discovered that it did things in the world of "screen shots" that i loved and had never found in other programs. i was hooked. 3 had tons of features and Snap 4 added even more. i don't use the program "all the time" but 4 is just as easy to use and maybe some day i'll get to explore its many features. fast, easy, flexible way to do screen captures, with many useful formats for area and screen capture and ways to save the files. great to capture a diagram out of part of a site's page and quickly print a full-page copy of it without going through two or three intermediate programs to get the job done.

NOTHING FOR 64 BIT USERS NOT COMPATABLE WITH WINDOWS 7 64 BIT LAPTOPS CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TOTAL USELESS AND SLOW YOU WILL NEED TO RESTORE YOUR COMPUTER. THE HYPE ABOUT BEING SUITABLE FOR 64 BIT IS TOTALL CRAP. I PUT IT ON MY BRAND NEW HP PAVILLION LAPTOP RUNNING WINDOWS 7 64 BIT AND AFTER ONE SE THE COMPUTER WOULD NOT RESTART TO WINDOWS. THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS LAME AND HOPELESS AND A DAY TOO SLOW TO HELP. EVEN HP SUPPORT COULD NOT CURE HAD TO DO A TOTAL RESTORE OF SYSTEM. COULD NOT BELIEVE IT SO I DID ANOTHER INSTALL ON MY WIFES LAPTOP AND IT DID THE SAME TO HER'S TOO !!!!! WARNING DONT TRY IT UNLESS YOU HAVE PREPARED A FULL RESTORE OR SYSTEM IMAGE WITH ACRONIS. WHAT A CRAPPY PRODUCT AND SERVICE.

nothing at all! it won't install because it keeps telling me that the latest version is already installed in my pc when in fact it is not. i uninstalled a previous buggy version and when i tried to reinstall it, it won't. DIVX used to be my favorite media player. then after several updates and upgrades and all it suddenly became unwieldy. talk about success getting in the head. and there's nothing at DIVX.com or divx labs that help. i'm switching to VLC. DIVX has totally lost all sense of user-friendliness.simplicity and effectiveness is better than all the technology you can throw at consumers.
