It does an excellent job on huge files and it's free! None that I can see! For those of us who still have very slow internet connections, this program is invaluable for very large downloads of 50 megs or larger.

sOFTWARE GOOD but spyware hard to remove!! "CDilla sets itself up on an undeclared, self-created partition on your hard disk. Yes, that means it goes in and changes your partition table" !!! Very hard to remove!!! I choose not to use it...

None yet. Bad installer. It gave me the option of installing software called Software Informer. I unchecked the box for that. The summary of installation options said it would run Software Informer when Windows starts up. Ack. I didn't install it. It appears that the installer will force Software Informer to be installed even if you tell it you do not want that software. Lameness. Can anyone recommend a good free download manager? ;-) I'm using Windows XP.

Downloads Anything That You Want Even A 124MB File And Larger Files, And Free Download Manager Even Looks Great. Can Not Think Of Any. Free Download Manager Is Much Better Than Download Accelerator Plus And Orbit Downloader Because They Can Not Download A 124MB File Even When Using Resume. And When You Have A Dial Up Connection You Want One That Works Really Good. And Unlike Download Accelerator Plus And Orbit Downloader That Will Error Out Every Time After About 8 Hours And Will Never Restart Your Download. Free Download Manger Will Never Do That. I Highly Recommended Free Download Manager!

it is freeenables you to categorize your downloadslets you know what you have downloaded in it's historyalso allows you to stop and restart downloads at anytime if the server allows. Nothing bad about this program it's great it allows you to download all file type and allows you to categorize them into there own directory structure for easy access and download category selection.I have found this program very useful and recommend it to everyone as it will strat a download where it had failed due to PC or server problem.

Clean Interface,Intelligent features,Good integration (i.e. supported by Flashgot for Firefox),Bittorrent support,User generated opinions about some downloads,File preview,Cost (i.e. it's free)All the other standard goodies work well. None that I can think of at the time of writing. It's probably the best download manager.

Easy to use. URL's are easy enough to paste. Help screens actually do offer help and not just ad's for the program. After 2 install,s and hours of downloading. I could not get it to download anything except the screen page info. Not one video was downloaded after numerous attempts. Also did not like the big blue arrow icon plastered on my desktop. Program did not function in it's primary purpose. Download files mainly video,s and movies. Program no worky

the downloader itself seem to work as advertised. downloads a viewer which updates itself. When unintalled all exe files are changed to lnk files. Couldn't even boot the machine in safe mode. Apparently the downloader works fine. The virus its viewer carries cost me some real cash to get fixed. Not worth wasting time (and money) on. Can't believe Cnet still has it listed.

Now I can find all my downloads with no problem. It also keeps all my downloads organized. I think it speeds up the download process. None really I just wish I could change the colors of the manager. Awesome tool that is really useful if you download alot of stuff.

Free plus GPL plus no malware plus no interference. Download speed increase needed.Drag and drop on the icon sometimes work and sometimes does not work. Need repairs here. A Good Product. Though IDM and DAP are the favorites they have their own problems. A decent but needs improvement alternative to IDM and DAP,
