Easy to start up on my ol' XP PC, doesn't crash and can actually print an entire PDF file. Nothing bad experienced Seems much easier to use in comparison to Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Works..and well. Must be said that I only 'read'. The new iteration lacks some of the annotations to which I've become used[Or at least I am unable to find them.] while slicker, doesn't work any better. And I miss the old FoxIt reader stamp on saved pages. Felt like a bit of payback with that. Terrific product---exactly as terrific as is .pdf itself. Which is pretty good.I DO actually wish there were a way I could pay for the use of the product without buying any whole commercial package.NOT...that it should become a commercialized Reader.Thnx-It ~ Fox-It!

Great, light viewer compared to the heavy Adobe Reader Unpacked with Ask.bar and ebay stuff. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO HAVE THIRD PARTIES SOFTWARE INSTALLED WITHOUT USER PERMISSION. As it is a good viewer I suggest to install it, remove immediately Ask bar and ebay stuff and use it or, as alternative, go back to Adobe Reader

Compact answer to Adobe reader, fast and efficient None for now.

Small, fast and is a fair alternative to the bloatware product from Abode. Freezes or works VERY badly with Firefox browser. I've had issues that I've tried to resolve without success for as long as I can remember. Foxit does not play well with its namesake Firefox.

When opening a PDF that is already on my computer, this program opens it FAST! Much faster than Adobe Reader. When in snapshot mode, clicking the page margin selects the entire page. Ability to annotate is nice. When preferences set to view in browser, PDFs would not open. When view in browser was unchecked, PDFs would download, but not open automatically. This occurred in Chrome, IE, and Firefox. Old-school interface. For just reading PDFs, it suffices. For annotating, Adobe wants you to pay for the pro version. For most web browsers, stick with Adobe Reader. For power local-PDF readers, Foxit seems better.

Also give the Foxit PDF editor! It is free with small limitations such as a watermark. it is simpler and safer than Adobe!

Don't have to wait for everything to load before you can start reading it. Doesn't stop in the middle like adobe does. Can't think of anything. Works well for the price. Updated on Jul 12, 2010

It loads fast and I have the option to have safe reading (won't connect to the internet) but when I do need to connect I can change it easily. None so far. As long as you do a custom install, you can eliminate any of the extra programs. What I like about it is you get the options to not install unlike other programs. The program loads very fast and uses very little resources which is a big plus.

1.Fast2.Easy to use3.Capable of creating bookmarks. One of my most wanted features .But read cons.... 1.Not possible to merge several pdf-files.2.Creating bookmarks "pagewise" is fine but bookmarks that refer to anywhere within a single page fail miserably as the destinations are out of sync. I have just started to create a comprehensive Flowchart diagram for one of my projects using "yEd"-Flowchart Editor(excellent Freeware/CNET) which offers PDF-ouput files. To combine several PDF-Diagram files I use "7-pdf -Split & Merger" (nice Freeware/CNET).Together with Foxit Reader and its bookmarks capabilities it is possible to create a very professional looking - PDF-Manual.Despite not being able to properly sync with several destinations on a single page I'll give it 4 stars as my diagrams fit on a single pages only and I only bookmark whole pages......
