"Good Little FLV Player" This player does away with the previous need to convert FLV files to more common, usable ones. Quick and convenient to use. It seemed to work better on my Vista machine than with my Windows 7 operating system. Works very well and does what is expected.

"One of the best I think." Plays many types of video file. Doesn't play iso files. I like it it's good, rarely need to play an iso file.

"The better of 2 FLV players (FLV2.0.25)." The better player between FLV 2.0.25...provides different screen sizes Still a stand-alone whereas win7codecs allows for the playing of FLV files from within Windows Media Player. Get Win7codecs instead.

"Mov format is not supported" light weight! The quick time mov format is not supported and this may add some shadows about supporting other formats such as RM and RA I don't like it because I thought that I got fooled by downloading it because I downloaded it due to I needed player mov format but less in weight that Apple Quick time. I uninstalled it immediately.

Variety of skins to choose from and looked like it had all the features I wanted. Did not work with Windows 7.

GUI looked good. Would not work. After installation I could not get the player to play any .flv file, I tried dropping on the player icon, I tried open with, and tried to have it search for the files--it could not find them. I reinstalled the player with the same results. A total waste of my time.

All versions 3.0, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.0 work well. Always well and only well like a humble bee. Nothing con except pro. For several years all features of all versions worked on XP without any sign of trouble.

Nothing compared to VLC. Since 4.1, spywares are always installed and will stay in your computer even if you uninstall this piece of crap. Stay away from it if you don't want thing like somoto toolbar to plague your computer. And CNET should really stop hosting this thing.

Nothing good from software that hijacks your computer, free or not. Latest version auto loaded ad-ware, spy-ware, and browser tool-bars even though I 'unchecked' the options. 100% thumbs down!!Plenty of other players out there that don't hijack your computer.

I use this as my default player. Works like a Champ. None that I can think of. I highly recommend this software.

Plays just about everything. Small footprint for install. If you cancel a play and move to another movie, it will remember the previous file and start playing at the end. AVG reported 5 different malware attempts during the installation. The previous version of this player was pretty straight forward, you installed it and it played flash videos. This version wants to change your home page, search engine, and according to AVG, install 5 different malware packages not counting the registry keys etc. While the player itself works wonderfully, it's harder to give it a good rating due to the apparent malware. Could be a false positive, but if that's the case then I shouldn't be the first person to mention it and the company should be working with anti virus/malware companies to get their software registered so users don't get the idea that there is something wrong wiht the program.
