Final Uninstaller offers a new and better way to make your PC run more efficiently by cleaning up files and registry entries that were left after unsuccessful uninstallation. The program is based on a powerful leftovers database to support many functions of thoroughly scanning your computer, intelligently detecting leftover files of various programs, clearly listing applications that can be removed and completely uninstalling with only one click.

Very dangerous program in the wrong hands. I tried it and it give me a list of programs that I had uninstalled in the past. So far so good. I decided on a few that I wanted to remove all remnants of. I found the interface was very good at explaining what I would be removing and it allowed me to easily choose what I wanted. So far so good. I proceeded to remove the remnants and all seemed normal afterwards. I was happy with the program. A short time later I noticed that I was having various problems with Internet-related programs and my LAN was no longer working properly. I went to check the TCP/IP settings and Windows would not even show any local area connection setting display. For all intents and purposes my networks were gone. Mind you, none of the remnants I removed were directly for network related programs. To make a long story short, I restored a backup made prior to using Final Uninstaller and all was right again. I think this program has potential (and that's why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 in the ratings) but as of right now I consider it too dangerous to use.

I have been using it for a while since version 2.0. It's good for me. It helped me get rid of some apps that add/rem can't do. Love that you can clearly find out how many "uninstalled" apps still remain on your computer.

"Great Uninstall program" Cleans up residue from the registry left by uninstalled programs and trial programs, easy to use and powerful Detects false positives, reporting them as incompletely uninstalled programs that turn out to be part of installed programs, and when you clean them the existing program stops working and has to be reinstalled. Great uninstaller, tried several and this one is the easiest one and more thorough cleaner. Most false positives are from older software programs.

"FINAL UNINSTALLER BEATS THE REST!!!" I have used Total, Perfect, Your, Revo, and Final, but Final uninstaller does everything they do and uninstalls programs and registry that are invisible to the rest. None to date

"Didn't work." Easy to use. It didn't work as expected. Downloaded the trial so that I could uninstall BitComet. It found numerous remnents of old deleted programs but would only allow me to delete 3 as a trial. Tried to delete 2. BitComet is still listed under Program Files and is shown as running.

Does pull up pieces or scraps of left over uninstalled programs. Only allows you to remove 3. That is lame. How can I possibly experience the full capacity of a program if the limits are set that low. What a waste of download time. Very misleading. Don't download this program! A waste of time.

Cleans every remnant of stubborn hard to remove software like norton antivirus, removes hidden keys in register left by trial software. Good technical support. Only three free removes on trial I tried most uninstallers and this one is the one that makes the grade for me enough to buy it

Finds remnants I think it removes some shared elements which means a reinstall of "other" prgms. Use with caution
