"Incredible Program" Cannot Believe a Program this good is FREE Cannot save as .ico files, but can import them Just simply AWESOME!

"Basic ops packed into entry level image mgmt" Works prety fast - picture refresh, useful additional built in tools like rename, etc. Can't change the size of thumbnails, preview pane too small Ok took for quick browsing pass on your pictures tree

"I liked this so much I sent money after five minutes." Fast, intuitive, contains most of the features I use (How did they know what I needed?). No hot key for the screen capture I use a lot. I gave this one to all my friends and family. When tasked on short notice to give a talk, I used FS rather than my larger database to find, enhance, and resize the images before putting them into Powerpoint.

I love this app. The best fullscreen mode around, lots of tools/information/options all available just by moving the mouse to an edge of the screen (love the directory viewer). Add to that the screen capture, slideshow builder, contact sheet maker and lots of other great tools, it really is the ultimate image viewer.

"No directions as to how to use." Could not get it to open, so no pros. After trying Irfan, this was no better but I was able to transfer photos from my files to edit, but resizing only cropped the image. What functionality? If there are no directions to its use, how can you get it to function? After a half-hour of trying, I uninstalled it. I am no computer dummy, and have never had as much trouble on any software before.

"For a free program you won't find any better." Nice and easy to use. Not found any yet! If this is anything to go by then i can't wait to see what's to come from Faststone.

"Excellent tool - Try it!" This image viewer is an excellent tool from start to end. It downloads your images from your digital camera, it gives you a good range of image editing / manipulation tools and shows the result in a slide show. No cons - it' just very good

It is a viewer and basic photo editor that lets you view your photos on screen - quickly, trouble free, good (variable) sized images, lots of basic editing available, cropping, red eye, email sizing, colour adjustments. Intuitive, etc. Cheap/free Doesn't do ICC profiles - but those that are concerned about htis are likely to have edvanced and expensive software to do the job. However, it would be nice. So many plus points. I did have an issue on one occasion and got very prompt help - it was my video driver (not FastStone) that was at fault. Don't bother with the software that comes with your camera . It's usually poor to average, just use FastStone. Try it before buying more advanced stuff like Photoshop Elements or equivalent. It doesn't do as much but is likely to cover most, even all of what you actually need. And make a contribution - it's worth it.

"good to do with my picture" clear and easy i like your product but not for the link now your product is good but your link WHY full of virus now never happen before you may review anything gone wrong pls.

"The name says it: FAST" Very fast to use for image view and pick up good ones and also remove the notsogood ones I cannot find any Its very easy to compare two pics with each others by zooming them so easily using only one click. Also edith comparison before and after with same method is very nice, you can easily check difference

"decent photo editor" a decent amount of editing options and filters. a little confusing to use and the preview pane is kind of small decent but there are better free image editors out there. works best when used in conjunction with photoscape (also free)

"Fastone works. I've relied upon it for years." Once you figure out the simple task of sliding your mouse to the edges, there are lots of features which do all sorts of things you want to do. I guess if I could tweak it, I'd come up with some other color choices than only black for red-eye reduction. It's free. It does what it says. It does it well.

"Probably the best free image viewer." Simple and easy to understand. There is nothing really problematic about FSIV FastStone Image Viewer looks and feels great. It's easy to setup and use.

Simply EVERYTHING!!! The uses I have for this type of software are here and simple to use. It doesn't do layers. I highly recommend this software to anyone needing a program that is user friendly and will accomplish almost any task when working with photos. You can pay hundreds of dollars for commercial products but with FastStone, save your bucks and make a donation. This is one program the developer(s) haven't given up on and continue to upgrade it as time goes on. Give it a try and if it isn't what you need.... delete it and try another... but you'll be back.

"I liked it so well I actually sent them money." Works great! Takes a few minutes to figure out but is reasonably intuitive. Get it!
