Performs some cool stuff on a PC... Not so much on a blackberry I have a blackberry bold 9650 syncing with my PC. I cannot see my notebooks that I created on my PC on my blackberry, just the notes. So if I have a notebook labeled Project One with 3 notes inside labeled interior, exterior and sitework and another notebook labeled Project 2 with the same notes inside, all you see on the blackberry is 6 notes. You cant see which notebook the notes are in until you are in the note. Also, if I want to add a photo Ive taken on my phone directly to a note it cant be done on the blackberry. I have to email it to the evernote email address with a long tag in the subject line to insert it into the note. Really? What is so great about this app if you cant edit the content of the note or even see a notebook on your handheld?

Cross platform and free for basic use. Useful for the online storage and access from anywhere. None found so far. A good program that I really ought to use a lot more. Less complex than MS' OneNote, so s easier to use intuitively. Has the advantage in that it is free to access easily (note the easily) using any popular device or platform, and it therefore a useful utility for even novices, allowing them to access work or thoughts from anywhere. As a not so well off person, I find the upgrade to the Premium version a bit too steep, considering the benefits, but it shines as a free but reduced functionality program.

Everything I put on my IPhone, IPad2 and all my notebook computers is always there waiting for me. Now how can this get any better? Everyone I show this too loves it and so will you. Do wish it had a bit more features and was geared a bit more like Microsoft One Note since I'd like the additional organization abilities. Simply a great program that really works. The way it links up all my computers of every type and style is astounding. It's immediate and it always works. Now they just need to offer an upgraded version more like One Note in Office 2010 so I'd have the extra features I find handy. I also wish it was compatible with MS overall instead of constantly having to copy and paste things all over the place.

Proves itself useful. Comes in handy when you want to jot something down and/or save something for later. Syncs with your other devices and even with your Web Browser. Look and color are very aesthetically pleasing. Easy enough to use. Syncing with other devices is not necessarily free. Like a lot of "free" software there are catches like that to encourage you to pay for an "upgrade". At first glance it may look like crapware. A closer look is necessary to find out that it is not. Evernote came preloaded, free on my computer and I first thought that it was just bloatware; known more commonly as crapware. I almost uninstalled it while I was uninstalling all of my computers other preloaded bloatware. Fortunately I always make sure to have a look at stuff before deleting it. Evernote looked like it might be useful so I kept it and gave it a try. I was right to do so because it has proven itself to be so. Evernote is very functional and easy to use. It's great if, like me, your the type of person who starts typing stuff but then leaves it unfinished for later. Or also if, like me, you have random flashes of ideas or find random bits of information online that you want to incorporate into your work and need a single, cohesive place to jot them down and keep them organized. Evernote is really good for bloggers and other writers. It's also good for various home, school and personal projects. It's just a good way to save stuff for later use. It should also be noted that this is a very nice looking piece of software in both its' layout and its' light green color; the Elephant Icon looks nice too. Also the Ink Note feature is really cool. All in all not a bad little piece of free software. Since the basic version is free, Evernote is worth trying.
